Hi JoAnn your right 48 hours. One way to see if cured all the way is that if you try lifting carrot off wax paper or parchment if it feels stuck or still grabbing then give more time to dry.

Those carrots could also be done with card board too right? I’m making some piñatas and having some pieces left over so that would be a good way to use them making some decor like for the garland. My front door is more in the open so I couldn’t put them outside but maybe a wreath. I have been into the peeps this year (I’m not really a peeps person lol) but I want to make me some peeps… 😊

Good question, It last for a couple of weeks, just be sure and put a moist napkin or paper towel at the bottom of your plastic bag.
