    That ik sprayer is how I use Bilt hamber auto foam. Which makes it super cheap to use. Never use it through a foamer as it made it pricy.. awesome. Good for the home user as BH AR has anti rust additives so for regular washing that is awesome.. those foam sprayers are great as they are so much more economical! Which is good if your professional too I bet!

Price was good and rated durability of 1 year. Have you any real world durability testing done it. Can’t get it here in Finland yet but trying to get a buddy of mine in Michigan to send me some if you rate it good. I was not happy. In only a couple months, the ball became rusted out. I can't use it anymore. Did you coat your foam cannon's metal ball with anything or do you soak it in vinegar overnight before you have to use it again? Any tips on how to maintain the metal ball so it doesn't rust? Also, that P&S water spot remover... I said that a couple times out loud. LOL! Sounded funnier when you said it in the video. That "cream" from the P&S "rubbed out" those spots pretty well! LMAO!! 11th, was on an office conference call. I have had several customers with brand new cars that are always lightly scratched or with different marks because either people look into by touching them with jewelry or keys hanging from pockets or kids or purses when they pass by them also on the exhibition floor. Luckily, they remembered telling the dealership not to do anything onto them like washing or buffing them, etc. So they bring it to me or to one of my friend Detailer.

  • @MirandaDetailing

    @MirandaDetailing

    2 жыл бұрын

    The flex is nice and the battery life I have found is on par with the SPTA. However I have also noticed that the flex is not a heavy cutting polisher. The backing plate is pretty thick. What I learned was it’s designed as a finishing polisher. At least that’s what I have found out from talking to other detailers. The SPTA can actually be used to cut pretty heavy defects. If you use a oem makita battery however it gets even more life and power.

    @@MirandaDetailing thank you for your reply. I live in Europe and my battery sistem is based on Milwaukee. They released 2 new polishers (15 and 21mm). The problem is the cost. Bare units after taxes cost around 450 euros here. Flex kit is around 500 euros....but it's another battery sistem.....pfff. You are correct about the xfe, it's the finishing machine in the flex line. I would start with the xce (forced rotation) if I decide to invest in a different battery system. There are 2 big questions...the battery life and the forced rotation experience. I see that all the big dogs in detailing industry recommend and use forced rotation, but it's something different. I just bought de little pxe 80 (3" flex) and ... it's a beautiful made machine. The quality is even better than my milwaukee tools. I suppose the 5" flex machines are as smooth as the little 3"... very tough choices!

    Phil just curious if you use any type of mask when applying ceramic coatings and if you do what kind?

    Hi. No we don’t. We have fans circulating air around and we sometimes open up the doors to get fresh air. The Gtechniq CSL is not that strong of a solvent smell at all which is nice.

    Yes. The first 24h initial curing is needed. Then it can get wet but not washed for 7+ days.

    Hi. So our paint enhancement polishing service is designed for customers who want gloss and about 50% swirl removal. The majority of our customers don’t need or want full corrections. In fact I don’t encourage it since our customers vehicles are daily drivers and get swirled up again. It’s all about what the customer wants and their budget. I like to show the reality of running a detailing business. 😎👍🏼

    Hello Phil and Jess. I live in a hard water area ( UK ), do you know of any shampoo that would help prevent water spots. I seem to get this problem even on a cloudy day. Thanks.

    Hi. Aw man! That stinks. Well most soaps do have water softening capabilities, but I never had to deal with hard water like that. The best option would be to invest in a DI water filter and use it just for rinsing.

    Yes using any type of quick detailers will help with that. Usually reach water spots come off easily. Do you still have problems with fresh water spots not coming out?

    Not sure why anyone care where people get products from. It’s one of those things that really has no relevance. If people want free stuff to try write the company. It’s their choice to go after it or not. Geez… I I am going to get some rehydra sheet just so I can say I put that sheet on everything. LOL

    Well I have a whole house filter, it’s not softened or deionized or anything. It’s just a a large sediment type filter. But we don’t have problems with our water at all. But I guess if you needed a DI system something like this would would work amzn.to/3B9yHJC Or amzn.to/3krHjo2
