    Dear ones, out there, please know these warm up exercises really, really work! I have severe osteoarthritis and after a little while working, especially when shopping, the pain in my knees increased and l had to walk slower and slower, stiff as a rod. Sometimes l even shortened my morning walks, but now, after my first warm up exercises, as above, it was a joy to go walking this morning! It was as if my knees have been oiled with warm oil and l just strolled along; even after coming back and walking in the house the workout still continued. Thank you, dear Will Harlow, for putting this here for us oldies (me am 74 🙂) and you are truly a hero to us! Take care😊 all and do these warm ups, it's worth all the effort! ❤🚶💚!!

    Thanks for this. Walked around Rochdale yesterday and my right knee is stiff today. I’ll know to correctly warm up now. Your ‘hole in the sock’ info was shocking but I powered through it. 😂

  • @rbrown6476
    @rbrown64766 ай бұрын

    Hey, Will. No judgement for having a hole in your sock - shows that you’ve been working while walking/exercising/teaching, and that’s a good thing for you and for us. Also I don’t trust people who always have perfect new, bright white socks/trainers or clothes - it shows they are obsessed with how they look, and that means they have no time to consider other people! And shows they don’t walk anywhere 😂😂😂 They’ll be using your videos when they’re old and stiff from not exercising, that’s for sure! Also we should all be wearing our clothes till they are full of holes, for the sake of the planet. If I lived near you, I’d be offering to darn your socks - I like hand darning but it’s a dying art 😂😂😂 Anyway, as always, I’m very grateful for your wonderful, helpful videos - I have difficult health conditions and your suggestions and reminders, delivered in a simple straightforward way, have enormous impact. Thank you ❤

    Thank you, Will. I never quite know what exercises are good for walking warm-ups. This is brilliant. And about your book, I'd love to purchase one, but is it crossing a line if I said I'd like a signed copy? Have you, or can you do that, or have you thought of that? I don't know if there are any other viewers who may read this or watch you. I think they might like a signed copy of your book. Maybe they can comment and add to the list. I will say this. As someone who is now in their 50s and experiences different aches and pains compared to ten years ago, this makes a huge difference. Especially from someone who is not in that age range and can help bring the correct range of motion and movement back properly. Anybody should give Will a watch. He's amazing.

    You might want to see a neurologist under those circumstances, or at least, your GP. But, if your diet is less than encompassing, you may want to try A PORTION (¼ or ⅓) of a “Balanced B-100 Complex”, about 20 - 30 mins., before you have to stand for any length of time. I don’t get shaky nearly so often as when my D3 levels were in the tank (took me a bit, but they’re now where they need to be), but occasionally I still do, and it’s usually when I’ve been working full out on yard chores or scrubbing my floors by hand. Get yourself checked out, Kid. Sometimes the “fix” is simple, but, either way, DON’T wait!!
