What a really nice happy place. I love the color of it all. Thank you. Also Jennifer McGuire has at least 4 great videos and Tim Holtz has a great one where he shows both the oxides and the distress inks. Oxides are great for stamping and blend much easier then the distress inks. Distress inks are brighter and you can use both to brighten or dull(chalk look) in same piece. But don’t mix your blenders or you will contaminate, use separate for each type. If that makes sense?? Yes I love both inks. Beautiful craft room!!!

SueHuskins you are right about where to go to learn about using distress oxide inks. Both Jennifer and Tim give some of the best tutorials on them. Once you get started you will love them and there is no turning back. With Paige's creativity I can't wait to see how she uses these fabulous inks!

Oh my! Where to start with complimenting you on such a delightful room. All that color makes my heart sing. There are so many sweet and unique touches. The hand-stitched art wall that you created, the way you display your albums in those great glass door IKEA cabinets, the pops of color with gifted art and trinkets, the vases, the jars, the felted flowers, that colorful felt ball wreath! (Swoon!). The most beautiful feature of your room in my opinion is the wall displaying your layouts! That is truly such a smart way to hang them and I love how easily you can rotate pages in and out. Plus-your layouts are just gorgeous and I would never tire of looking at them. This tour really inspired me and I think when I need a dose of artistic inspiration I am going to come back to this video. P.S. I have a special video request. I would love to see some of the first cards you made when you were a teen. I was very intrigued by the drawer you pulled out and impressed with the design on the top card I saw. I started basic scrapping in my early twenties and my creative journey has evolved over the years-expanding and improving. It would be fun to know the history of your creative journey. Do you share that anywhere on social media or in a book? Maybe the video could be under a "Throwback Thursday" theme. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into the room where all this beauty happens!! It truly is a happy place and a reflection of the heart of the person who creates in it! 😍😍

Thank you so much!! When I scrap it's usually assignments so I have to work with a set of supplies so that takes out some of the guesswork. A few years ago I did a huge purge and got rid of anything I knew I wouldn't use so that helps me use what I have :)

you have a fabulous bright and happy space. I have videos on my youtube with Oxide "recipes" as I call them, mixed with Versamagic inks as I do not have them all. I also have recipes for color combos for the normal Distress inks and Memento inks

Thank you! I work at both tables :) When I am filming I work at the filming table, but I only film about 1/4 of what I make so the rest of the time I scrap at the standing table :)
