Absolutely better. They actually played the entire game. See the charge that Paige took right at the end. Caitlin was still working hard, and Paige was not allowing ANY easy buckets. It is certainly more fun to watch the NCAA women than the WNBA.

I've figured it out; the skill level and speed is higher in the WNBA, but its less intense. The WNBA players don't have the athleticism to keep the game interesting and make up for the lack of intensity.

Can we please give credit to the whole UCONN team. Since ESPN with the bull, I got y'all. Williams, Edwards, and Westbrook was balling. Caitlyn is nice but she forced the issue way too much today, she can learn from Paige on letting the game come to you.

yeah over time more talent will develop and make the WNBA more interesting. these college games are fun to watch so eventually the WNBA will be more entertaining, driving up viewership, and in turn bringing in more revenue.

Its crazy what can change over 2 years! During this time Paige was undoubtedly the most popular womans player, way more than Caitlin. After many injuries and 2 years later, Caitlin is the most popular player and Paige is trying to work her way back in the spotlight!

Williams has talent, but she’s inconsistent. She had the wonderful luxury today of being guarded) if you can call it that, by Clark, who’s an extremely weak defender

Paige didn't "outplay" her rival. But her teammates certainly did outplay the other team. The UCONN defense was outstanding. To my way of thinking this is a reflection of great coaching. And...players following their game plan. Paige was good. But better in the first two games. Now the games get serious.

Paige Bueckers is one of my fav hoopers -- I look forward to seeing what she can do with her talent. She's great for the women's game!

After watching the interviews I have to say that this was a great game. PERIOD. Paige didn't, in my opinion seem to have that much of an impact as she usually does. Geno took her out of the game before the end of the 2nd qtr. She did however play well. Christin was the one who came out with all barrels loaded which goes to show you that Paige doesn't even have to be on the court to have an impact on the team. Paige is a team player and her team will rise with her. I did see that in Iowa in a few players but as the interviews show they are a young team. Fear Catlin... That's all I have to say, she will be back for the next 3 years and I have a feeling a huge threat to UCONN. This isn't over.

Caitlin Clark may be a better individual player. But Paige consistently makes everyone around her better. She did that all through HS. Went to the state championship 5 straight years. That's grade 8 through Senior. Now here she is at UCONN in the playoffs. Again. Great coaching, for sure at both HS and UCONN, but she makes her teammates better. She really seems to know when to step up and take over.

To say that Bueckers "outdueled" Clark is to say you don't know much about basketball, and especially the dynamics around this this game. UCONN came into this game as the #1 ranked team in the nation, Iowa was never ranked all year. Bueckers was just one of a fleet of highly ranked UCONN players; for Iowa, Clark was the only one. UCONN had a significant advantage in size, length, athleticism, and bench depth. For Iowa to have won this game would have been an earth-rattling upset. On paper, this should be a 35 pt win. Yet Iowa was still within single digits several times in the third and fourth quarters. UCONN was able to throw everything they had at Clark defensively; Iowa did not have that luxury re: Paige, due to the breadth and depth of the UCONN recruits. If you want to discuss a "duel", it's actually between talent-hoarding blueblood programs and everyone else. If you must focus on the Paige/Caitlin comparison, what you have to imagine is what would happen if they switched teams. Take a minute...
