He dances through this fiendishly difficult masterpiece with great virtuosic ease and flair. Roussev is great Paganini player!. Eric Shumsky
How fortunate we are today, to listen to an exceptional interpreter today anytime anywhere when Paganini was listened and enjoy the glorious of his achievements by only the fortunate few of his time.
Bravo!!!! A great performance this is. Imagine hearing this concerto for the first time with Paganini playing it. The audiences couldn't believe the things he was doing with the violin - octaves, tenths, thirds in double stops, harmonics, up bow staccatos down bow staccatos,... everything which they had never heard before. Now, we sort of take it for granted but back then, only one violinist was doing this - Paganini.

What _i_ like about this vid is that it shows most of the playing so clearly which is good to learn from. (If you are already an advanced student).

I like how he played the main theme. Initially didn't expect that amount of aggression, it makes the overall tone sharp and snappy.

They didn’t disrespect it. They just used a sample and mixed it with hip hop beat, which turned to a literally good song.
