Padmaavat Reaction (Part 1) - Ranveer Singh is Gloriously UNHINGED

Ойын-сауық

I tried to stay silent as far as possible on my journey on this channel. Everytime I feel like giving you guys one more chance you somehow always disappoint me… maybe Indian cinema just isn’t your thing… I have seen tons of foreigners who even if they don’t understand the culture the reference the story they still take time to understand the movies in details. Their efforts to understand this industry can be seen but the same can’t be seen on this channel. They analyse the lyrics, the traditional instruments, the choreo, the history, the outfits, the culture, the festivals, the story, the behind the scenes everything. Everytime I kept saying myself it’s their opinions let them be honest because that’s a good thing to be genuine but now slowly I’m realising you lack few things as a reaction channel. Instead of criticising your content further more in future I think I should just silently leave this channel right now. This was my first and last time actually writing any criticism. I hope your channel will improve as you grow. I wish you all the best and thank you for all the reactions so far ❤

@@Lazymath007_ You are as lazy as your name to even research, it's not a Storyline it's history which can't be spiced with twists & turns for your taste. It's the story of Barbaric Islamic invader hell bent on looting & destroying native culture & women, keeping & selling them. Native war victim women's were sold like cattle openly in the market showcasing them & that market still exists. Allauddin Khilaji got obsessed with Queen Padmavati. That led to war & defeat of Chittor & as stories of Khilaji's vilification were known to all, the queen chose to sacrifice herself in fire to not let him win. It was her middle finger to Khilaji that he might have won the war but she will never become his slave like other women & would rather choose to die free & with dignity. That historical storyline was shown with minor spices to the facts but I guess you would want more of spice who the F cares about history or facts.

Are you guys fr? On one hand you say that everything is being narrated throughout the movie, and on the other hand you don't understand most of the scenes. On one hand you don't wanna pay attention to the movie, dialogues and any of the scenes which is very very important if you're watching a SLB movie as they have lots of symbolism and hidden meaning in it , but on the other hand you're complaining about the movie and calling it boring. You couldn't even identify the real things and sets of the movie and then complain about CGI. SLB mostly uses real sets and best costumes which is why the budget was so high. And there are many beautiful forts and palaces in India which are real and not CGI. So I would suggest that you guys do some homework before watching such culturally rich and historical Indian movies. Even if you don't understand anything or are doubtful about something you should just google it before drawing conclusions and being ignorant about things. This way you can give better and more genuine reaction which we are totally up for. But calling a movie boring without knowing and doing anything is not cool. And out of all annoying things, talking throughout the movie is the most annoying thing you do.

what sense make a reaction without speaking throughout the movie. Should they sit silently the hole time? I want to know how other people feel about a movie, what they recognise what i may have not, etc. It's natural that different people have different opinions, but why blame them? Just go to another channel, i'm sure you find one you like ❤

@@OneSizeMagic What sense the movie will make if they talk throughout the movie and miss everything. And then they also complain that the movie is boring. There's a reason why people do not talk in theatres and cinema halls so that they can properly watch the whole thing and then after that they can analyse it. I'm sure you're aware of this simple fact. I do not like people talking too much in between a movie ( if they wanna talk they can pause ). And why don't you simply watch their reaction if you're loving them so much, instead of telling me what to do and what not to do?

This movie is based on a famous poem about history that is why there is narration. And I don’t understand all this “nothing’s happening” stuff y’all are talking about cuz this isn’t a fictional tale, it’s history so they have to follow the events and tell a story at the same time.

I used to like and patiently wait to watch your reactions everyday, but I feel like recently you both have been very arrogant. I know you are giving a genuine reaction, but sometimes if you don’t know something fr, you could keep that to yourself and do some research. The locations are real. These places are in India. And, the movie is based on poem and real history. You could have been a little open minded to the culture. Also, the Asians really have thick hair esp people from India Pakistani Sri lanka …. The fire dancing also real, called Chari dance. Don’t know why you just judge everything on first hand instead of atleast being lil bit open minded to the different culture. Ps. Neither I’m from India, nor I’m Indian. Still I think you both could have done some research and been respectful.

Certainly, historical or any serious issue-based or reality-based movies of India are not their cup of tea. They are over-critical of something they have not made any attempt to understand, One they hardly do any homework or research about the movie a little, and already have a built prejudice about Indian storytelling where according to them layered world-building of all the emotions micro stories leading to the main event means Nothing is happening in the first half of the movie. I have seen that comment quite a few times and as they are more fixated on the Hollywood style of single-flavor movies where in an action or horror or war will have no space for deep love or happy dancing or stupidest comic moments. And what I dislike the most nowadays, worst of all they keep talking without even pausing hardly paying attention to what's being shown.

I think you guys went in to this movie with the wrong expectation. This is based off a poem and has been modified very little to suit the narrative. This poem is hundreds of years old, and it’s a slow burn, but it’s focus is on the dialogues, the culture, the people, but not the cgi, which isn’t that bad. Some of the shots you said were cgi were real, but you thought it was cgi coz of how epic it looked, that it looked fake. I think you needed to do some homework before jumping into this one. So this reaction wasn’t very professional. But I get it, it’s hard to grasp something you’re so unfamiliar with.

I love this movie so much. The palaces, sets, costumes, and names are as close to authentic history as you can get. The first half of the movie is set up to establish the Rajput culture (they don't really bother showing authentic Sri Lankan or Khilji culture but anyway). PS: The story is not real though. Khilji and Ratan Singh never met in real life. Khilji never even stepped foot in the kingdom while Ratan Singh and his wives were alive. Ratan Singh was killed by another Rajput king and his wives allegedly committed suicide shorty thereafter. Still the music and amount of research that went into creating the visuals is worth watching.

They don't have to do anything; they can just sit and complain about not liking the movie, not pay attention, and still get views on their videos. I've noticed that before their Bollywood movie/trailer reaction videos, they used to react to Hollywood content. They've now made their channel specific to Indian movie reactions because they get more views, not because they enjoy these kinds of movies. It's purely for monetary purposes. I've also noticed a huge jump in their subscribers because people like us followed them right after their first Bollywood reaction video. Okay, I've learned my lesson and will unsubscribe!

With mughal e azam they'll be bored (already it's a super long movie, historical) and they'll find out faults in the sets and not appreciate the effort, pakeeza (they'll not understand at all, they'll just assume courtesans are prostitutes), and maya bazar they'll criticize the cgi and special effects. Understood now?

This is my second time watching the reactions from this channel and i would suggest you guys do some research before giving reactions . Raw recations are good but being ignorant throughout the reaction spouting nonsense without getting the context is not good for the channel in the long run.
