PADI Open Water Diving courses in Hurghada, Egypt

About PADI diving courses: it turns out there are a lot of diving levels, but it all starts with the Open Water Diver certification. To get it you have three days of diving lessons during which you will dive 6-8 times. You will also receive a PADI 200-page book, you have to read it carefully :) During the dive, the instructor will teach you the basics first - such as not forgetting to breathe :) Then how to assemble the equipment, how to check everything or how to put it on. You will learn that there is no diving alone, and that divers must take care of each other. For starters, you will dive to a depth of 6-8 meters where the lessons will take place. Here you will learn how to control your breathing, not to panic, how to inflate water from a mask, how to share a backup breathing system, how to monitor the balance of air, how to maintain a neutral balance and communicate with signs. Several exercises give you adrenaline - such as removing the mask, removing the belt with weights, and removing and putting on all the equipment. It sounds simple, but there are no simple things under the water :) Basically, anyone will be able to do everything, but the most important thing is not to panic. The most unpleasant thing for me was immersion when it was necessary to equalize the pressure in the ears, which is a bit painful, and it was not easy to adjust to a neutral position. You will learn how important it is to maintain proper depth and that diving in general is a sport for the lazy but requires great discipline and accuracy. And you will swim, deeper and deeper :) Then all the beauty and pleasure of diving opens up. What could be better than floating in a weightless state in a warm diving suit and watching an incredibly colorful, completely different world than we know. Breathe slowly and move slowly when there is silence and calm around - a real meditation or trance state :) Well, after all the panic and meditation sessions, you will take an exam which consists of ~70 theory questions and immersion planning/calculation tasks. You will have to remember the logic - it is not easy during the holidays :D You will have to answer at least 70% of the questions correctly. If you do not respond, you will have the opportunity to reschedule the next day. Well, the whole process is similar to a driving license exam only this one is much more fun :)
