Hi Sandy, I've completely missed this suberp video when it was released. I recently played a match on the forehand side which the opponents filmed. I realized that most of my bandejas were quite floppy due to the fact that I was always at the service line hitting them and yet the impact was above my head level. From this I concluded that I would be better off letting the balls hit the back wall and attack the bajada. I think the players here display the same kind of error quite often.

Great content and very useful content, I'm playing tonight and will try to remember the points you make. That said I STILL find myself pretty much living in no man's land???? So annoying! I just think it's a fitness thing, ( heart attack, replacement knee, good living etc) guess I'll just have to accept my limitations and plod on in no man's land.

One step back or forwards is all you need, and you won't need to run as much when returning the ball! I think it will be easier in the long run regards to fitness aspects. I'm also playing tonight, gonna focus on Bajada/attacking after glass. Good luck in your game!

MonnizProductions is right. You actually would probably do less running if you stayed in the right position. Because you would stay at the back until you have a good chance to lob and then only come forward then. Most players have to scamper back and forth because the step inside the line at the back. If you told yourself you are only going to move inside the line once per point, you would make sure it's following a good lob!

Time: 1.39 . What should she have done to save that boll? Stept forward?

As soon as she could see the player was not behind the ball when defending, that was really the only place she could hit, so to step forward...comes with anticipation!

I think slowing down the video around the talking point or highlighting it in some way. The brain is feeded 2 different sets of information. Great work otherwise!
