Lower Level - Padel Match Analysis
Спорт
This match analysis we look at a lower level than before with 4 recreational players from Finland! I analyze some of the technical shots, as well as breakdown some common mistakes with the tactics.
In this video, we cover the following topics:
- Court Position
- The Serve
- Transition to Net
- Smashing
- Defending the Smash
- Shot Preparation
- Attacking After the Glass
and my favourite:
- Messy Points!
The aim of this video is to give the players areas to focus their training on and help develop their matchplay skills.
We cover all the shots, go through the learning steps and give drills for each in this course: thepadelschool.com/courses/on...
To play better matches you need to understand the tactical principles in padel, so in this course we breakdown all the tactics: thepadelschool.com/courses/ta...
If you enjoy learning more about padel, The Padel School blog has plenty of articles discussing various parts of the game: thepadelschool.com/blog/
Players that regularly compete and want to look a little deeper into their matchplay can access our analysis products here: thepadelschool.com/analysis/
If you want to train regularly and play better padel, then our most specific instruction comes with our online coaching. Here we work directly with the player through video feedback, spend time tailoring the training to the individual and helping develop their game. But to keep the quality high for each player, spaces are limited: thepadelschool.com/online-coa...

This level of instruction will reach more players and lift the whole sport up a notch.

Great content and easy to take in pointers which makes it greatly educational! And also props to the guys "daring" to share the video :) Most people are not in for a treat by filming themselves (we've done it a couple of times and dear god is it far from how you expect!) and I guess one of the main reason for that is because of improper foot work and shot preparation as you point out here.

As usual, this is really good stuff! We have been playing padel for three or four years now, but can see in this demonstration exactly how we initially played, and how your comments summarise the instruction and coaching which has moved the game on for us. Watching here, you can see clearly why that positioning is key....and why being caught in ‘no mans land’ is so embarrassing (still occasionally happens)! We thoroughly enjoy your coaching videos, thanks for posting them! Hopefully, here on Fuerteventura, we will be back on court in another week or so....!

Great Sandy! All your videos are great but this type for low to mid level is so needed. Higher levels get analysis from their trainers but we don't usually get that so this is so appreciated to know how to improve our game. Thanks!

Really enjoy these match analysis videos. I am lucky enough to live in Spain where playing padel is very inexpensive and there are players of all different levels . I am 57 and have been playing for about four years without ever being coached. I reckon I am a lower end level four player or good level five player. Getting better than that is difficult but hoping watching these videos will help.

Moro!

Tulin btw juuri kentältä, on kyllä nautinnollinen laji!

@@ceekay9184 joo tää Padel on ihan sairaan hauskaa, itte kans junnuna tennistä hakannut 10 vuotta, aikuisena vaan muutama kesänä lämmittänyt tennistaitoja uudelleen. I've played the game for a few years now and although the game analyzed is very beggining level I still find that your comments are very useful. As you know, in Spain padel is huge, and there are many websites, tutorials, blogs, you-tube pages etc in spanish. Fabulous teaching on the basic foundations. I've just started playing whilst in Feurteventura on a long holiday. I've also discovered that there are 2 padel courts in my area in the UK. My biggest issue is actually trying to apply the foundations whilst playing competitively with the adrenaline on full tap! I'm thinking of taking some coaching sessions on my return to the UK to iron out the wrinkles.... hopefully!
