i hate people lying bout psychedelics and had a terrible taxi driver once spout shite, as it actually can do harm what he was saying, esp for first timers or people using it for therapy but think its gonna make them loopy. Did my main essay about the manic depression magic mushroom trials happening showing they work as well as 3 months worth of antidepressants. had a taxi driver tell me he took acid once and near tried to jump out of a window thinking he could fly (really old myth). i said, "well, as a drug addictions counsellor, your the first i've ever say the myth themselves'" "well this was acid in the 90's, it was stronger" "LSD or acid is same acid today as 90's, doesn't get stronger because *of an era* and that was a myth from the 60's, 'a man took acid, thought he could fly' along with 'the girl thinking she became an orange', sorry but your jibbering" "aye big expert here eh?" we went from banter to bullshit myths that mislead/can cause harm to utter silence, cuz he got told to stop talking pish by an ex-smackhead who's now a qualified drug and harm reduction counsellor, doing much better than him £££. fuckin fonacab, eh
