PIA to install. Great unit though, the edge. This is my 3rd helmet installing it into, and it was a pain each time. Not Cardo's fault. If you want it clean, it will take some time and fighting the helmet to route the wiring.

Hi Cardo! Does the Edge can you release the support from clamp like the Cardo Packtalk?

My wife and I are contemplating switching from Sena 50r over to the Edge... but I have always wondered if mesh tech is really worth it due to the fact that its always just us riding together. Love to get a some insight on if mesh is truly a benefit for just two riders?

What if the helmet already has a mic and speakers? Can you connect it using bluetooth, or does it have to be with the wired mic and speakers. I am currently using the Vata7 helmet which has integrated speakers and a mic

The oversized / large speaker connection is very difficult to "hide" inside the Shoei X2 Hornet helmet. I preferred the older cardo's speaker connection, external from the helmet. Hoping to find a solution, otherwise, I'll have to return the Edge, because it's too painful to keep.

Great! I suggest you to make a video showing how to install in a Shoei Neotec 2. It's a little difficult because the place to install the intercom from the competition.

White helmet, black interior, not so bright room, and camera ISO turned down too low. It's difficult to see what's going on in this video.

I want the video on how to pair it to a cell phone, specifically my alcatel goflip 4 dumb phone that does not work with Lexin B4FM. their units are garbage that I have had for 1 day and now they are fighting me to give me a return label and get my money back. All I want this unit for is to make and receive phone calls. I never ever ride with anyone and don't listen to music. I could receive a phone call from lexing, but it would not recognize any or my contacts list names. I tried to adjust the radio and that did not work either but has nothing to do with the phone not connected. Connecting bluetooth was almost impossible. After 8 hours in 2 days of messing with it I demanded my money back. Will this unit work with m cell phone mentioned above because it is not really a smart phone but has wifi and bluetooth. Alcatel goflip 4. Thanks for your consideration in advance. This is 3x more expensive than the B4FM Lexin. But will be worth it if it all connects and works properly. thanks.

I love that my unit has died in just 7 months and 5 days before i leave for the Tail of the Dragon. Best part can't get ahold of anyone to try to get mine fixed or buy a new unit in time. No shipping options on the website. I like Cardo but Sena is starting to look more tempting by the minute!

Don't attempt to install this on an HJC i10. I didn't know any better and attempted to install it. The matter-of-fact procedure this demo shows is nowhere close to reality. The wiring keeps the cheek pads from clipping in. I now I have a helmet whose cheek pads won't go back in and a Packtalk Edge unit that I can't return because I've used the adhesive pads and alcohol wipes. Oh well, I'm out $600 for them and now I have to go buy a different helmet that has a built-in comm setup for another $600-800.
