Maybe you could bring a yoga mat for Ollie, be easier to carry and would provide a little more comfort. Just an idea. ♥

The vlog is really early tonight! It's 7.30pm here in the U.K. whereas it's usually more like 8.30. So that's good! I know what you mean about headaches, Mary. I get them a lot and they're horrid things. I hope your team can come up with some ideas as to how to avoid them so often. Ollie is so sweet when he kisses the camera!! I deal with chronic migraines, and I completely understand your thankfulness for being headache-free. It's like you've been in pain for so long, when the pain isn't there anymore you become so attune to how well you feel. It helps me to not take my non-migraine times for granted.

I have CF and I got a feeding tube a couple years ago, it was harder at first when your body is getting use to the new food but its gets better and I still have it now!! it REALLY helped with my weight! I hope your surgery goes well Mary! ❤❤

when Mary said, it's so wonderful to not be in pain, I almost cried, because holy shit I can so relate to that. I've been in pain for the past couple of months now with my joints, and going from doctor to doctor nobody can really help or figure out what the problem is, and it's so good when for some reason the painkillers work and I'm not in pain. it's like as if I can suddenly breathe and actually exist. I've had a new medication for a week now, and I can actually concentrate on other stuff besides pain, and it's so amazing. so good.

I wasnt tested as a baby. I was born just slightly before testing babys was a regular thing. Apparently you can have something called delayed cystic fibrosis where major symptoms dont start till later in life.

Betty Meier Believe it or not, I'm actually writing this in the car on my way to the Mayo clinic in Rochester! I don't have CF, but I've been to Mayo a dozen times now (despite living 4 hours away by car), and I know how scary new doctors can be when you're chronically ill, but all but one of the doctors I've seen there have been fabulous. I'm sending you good vibes for your testing and whatnot! 💜

Katy Kostich thanks for the encouragement! I am excited to go if my test comes back negative. It sound like they will focus on all my health issues as a whole instead of just the specific doctors specialty which is what I need. I live in wisconsin and am only 5 hours away.

They tested me for CF 3 times when I was 14 because I had so many symptoms of it. They thought for sure that was it but I have Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and on transplant list for both lungs. Good Luck on your test!

I've never had much luck recording sunsets/pretty skies either. Sometimes I look back through my phone and I'm like "why did I take a picture of this powerline? Oh, sunset, right!" Praying that your surgery goes well tomorrow!

As a little person I always ask for a kids menus - never any question but I always laugh when resteraunts have the ages on the menus because I'm almost 20 and eating off a menu that says "No kids over 10 Please!"

I always wonder why menus have an age limit! I always order off the kid's menu as well, and I have been denied access to it in the past due to the age limit. Is it an inconvenience? I just want to pay for a meal that I'm going to eat all of (or any of, in cases of picky eating), not get more food for less or anything!

I have gastroparesis. I wish I could order off the senior menu too. When I disclose my GP, they're usually pretty good about a kids' meal or custom orders. Chili's and Applebee's make me custom stuff off the menu and it's pretty good!

I get looks at restaurants bc I had 90% of my stomach and 60% of my intestines removed so I have a card that asks the managers if I can either eat off the kids or seniors menu or just share a plate with someone else. I don't eat much.

I have stomach issues, and can't eat too much at once. I order from the regular menu, then get a go box and take food home. A typical resteraunt dish will feed me 3 or 4 times! LOL

Mary, I know what you mean about wanting to cry after the pain has gone. I have cried due to relief after 3 or 4 days of going through hell (please excuse my French but thats truly what it is) with a fibro flare up. I hope you do well at the hospital!! That's really good to know about the Kangaroo Pump! That's the brand my insurance has approved, but I didn't know about the automatic water flushes. We are still waiting to see if I will have an NJ or peg with 2 surgeries I have coming up and Pre-Op next week. Good luck with your procedure!

Mary best of luck I will be praying for you! Got a J tube last September. Not to scare you but it was very painful, and I have had a lot of surgery but IV tylenol worked wonders, better then dilaudid or fentanyl, wish we had tried it sooner. That black backpack you guys got from the homecare company fits the Joey and two bags, thats why it was so big...but I'd guess you wouldn't need an auto flush during the day. Love you guys!

My shirt just came in the mail!! It feels like Christmas morning! 😄😄😄😄

I got to the Emergency Room Thursday night and was admitted to the hospital the next morning for my Cystic Fibrosis. I had the works: fever, loss of appetite, cough, increased mucus production. All started with a cold that worked its way through my family. At least my new CF clinic and doctors are in San Francisco, so I am in a beautiful and historic city! I'm hoping to leave on Saturday and do IVs at home.
