I agree with that. To an extent I mean, Walker was a big part of our defense this year, and he stepped up from the mistakes he made last year. However, there are some other key players on our defense that they good like Rashan Gary.

@@braydenlom8328 Gary is the most talented player in our defense, but Quay was more important last year, when he wasn't on the field, the difference was tremendous.

@@caioventura743 our best player was Kenny Clark and Rashan Gary..Quay graded worse than Campbell, I think Quay plays with worse players and the packers can hide KC or Rashan Gary, because they are deeper

Walker is arguably my favorite player on defense besides Jaire. He’s physical, fast, athletic as hell. He needs a DC who’s gonna help him succeed to take that next step like a Devin white type of player. I hope Hafley can help him take that next step to becoming an elite LB. Next season is gonna be a big season for him. Ceiling is All-pro/Pro-Bowl. We need to get another fast LB to help him.

@@SportzCulture did you not watch that 2020 season? Devin white and Lavonte David single handedly destroyed us in the playoffs and that regular season game. Walker definitely has that speed and athleticism. You should have read my comment. I don’t need to clarify it.

@@kenjenvang in 2020 he was solid yea but watch film or simply watch more games in general yea he’s fast but the kid is lost out there and can’t read the field that well and struggles in coverage so nope I don’t want quay to be like Devin white a Lb who each season has regressed

As his Auntie Sam of Cordele, GA; our Family had to sit Quay down & shake him a little bit. We had to reinforce Humility & Gratefulness to him. That GOD gives it & GOD can take it away 🙏 I Truly think he got his senses & his Priorities straight now. We have our entire hometown of Cordele, GA behind him & as a family We Will Not Allow him to gain Ego, Pride or Arrogance; not on our families watch ❤️🙏 He made a lot of rookie mistakes & it was enough for him to understand being humble in All things on Earth. He understands to play professionally is a Privilege not a Right 🙏

Our new DC was Isiah Mcduffies head coach in college his last year. If Campbell is gone, which is expected, I’d assume Mcduffie would get his shot. Another early to late rounder would be nice though.

I like McDuffie but I agree it'd be nice to draft another guy. I haven't paid close enough attention to how McDuffie is in coverage though. Going to need somebody to drop into coverage, I hope it isn't Quay because I want him coming in on the blitzes and attacking the run. Fingers crossed they get a guy in the draft. Heck maybe throw a couple Day 3 picks at it since they'll need the depth anyways

@salvatore7942 Considering how many picks the Packers have this draft, I wouldn't be surprised if they took an ILB with one of their day 2 picks. If the Packers really capitalized on this upcoming draft, they could be a powerhouse next year. (Also assuming they make moves this free agency as well).

Highlights are always nice, but his actual performance was not all that good for a 1st round pick. However, it is hard to blame Quay. Barry is possibly the worst DC someone like Quay can play for. His game is physical and aggressive, while Barry's game is a frustratingly cautions read-and-react. We'll get a better look at his (and other players') ability in Hafley's more active defensive strategy.

Quay Walker underrated?
