Pack everything you THINK you could POSSIBLY need. I thought I over packed with my first and I wish I had brought more! You want to be as comfortable as possible so whatever it takes!!
Always Discreet nappies were a life saver. Im not even bothering with pads and disposable underwear this time around.
Exciting!! I think over packing is better than you being without .. can never be too prepared, sending you all the good vibes for the birth 👶🏼💕
The lansinoh purple cream is magic stuff. I still use it now when my little girls has chapped lips or dry skin. It's brilliant stuff and a little goes a long way. It literally fixes chapped lips overnight!
So exciting! Don’t worry about over packing, it’s so much better to feel organised with less things to worry about 💕 Did you pack some cleanser and a face cream? You might want to use some skincare after your shower and to feel as clean as possible xxxxx
What I learned from my first birth is to pack more clothes for my husband, as I had a hard labour so I had to only stay in bed, so he was changing diapers, burbing the baby and so on, so remember to pack clothes and stuff for your husband, I guess he will be with you all the time in the hospital ☺️
The only thing I would add for you is lounge wear. I had a really gorgeous set to come home in from new look maternity, really soft like a light jumper and wide leg trousers. I was in for a week after giving birth and I lived in maternity jumpsuits and lounge wear in there! Maybe if they don’t fit just leave a pile of them somewhere for Sam to find. You’ll be amazing, all the best to you ❤
If your clothing smells of the plastic bags, put a tumble dryer sheet in the bottom of them. All the best.
Got a Katie Loxton bag great for everything 💕💕
Defo over pack, it doesn’t matter and you’re so right, you don’t want to not have something and have to rely on someone bringing it in. Just a few suggestions - Suitcase is easier, when you’re in labour you won’t want to be carrying anything, so it’s easier for your partner to wheel a suitcase rather than carry like 2 or 3 bags whilst also supporting you. Disposable pants - still wear pads with them. Trust! Never don’t wear pads as well or it’ll be a blood bath 😂 Deodorant - make sure it’s unscented. So important. Food - make sure to have something substantial for post labour. I gave birth at an odd time and by the time I was on the ward kitchens were shut so I couldn’t have the classic toast etc. I had a rice pot they could just put hot water in for me. Only other thing I would say is if you want to breastfeed, take nipple shields. If baby can’t latch (mine couldn’t) they will make you give a bottle and once the baby takes to a bottle it’s unlikely you’ll be able to establish breastfeeding. Nipple shields help baby latch on if they’re struggling.

@@MoAkuse I had the MAM ones 😊
You will need the earplugs! Take those and a sleep mask for during the day when Sam is there to watch the baby xx
I’d got natural for a deodorant and just flip flops as anything remotely fabric you’ll just want to bin if it’s been on the floor,I did anyway, such an exciting time ❤I remember it well ,enjoy every minute ❤
Definely pack a loofah! Honestly, the amount of sweat will feel unbearable. Sorry tmi 😅ooow and maybe some eucalyptus oil that really helped me relax after throwing up so much during push time x
I recommend to pack dummies to soothes baby when it is crying in hospital so other mums can go to sleep in the hospital and pack three bibs for feeding must have for all the sick and dribble to protect the baby clothes and it stays dry and I recommend a knitted cardigan to bring baby home from the hospital to keep baby warm car journeys back home and bring baby 4 hats with you to the hospital to keep baby head warm In the hospital because baby head loses heat quickly and bring arrange of swaddle blanket and swaddle sleeping bags and swaddle Velcro wraps so you can work what baby likes the best and I recommend blanket for you in the hospital stay because the beds in hospital are uncomfortable and it will make you comfortable and make you feel like home and I recommend pregnancy pillow for extra comfort in the bed at bedtime
We basically have identical things packed except for the camera. Better to have more things than not enough
