As an oregonian the beaches here are something you cannot miss

I lived my whole life on an island off the WA coast. I've been suddenly made to live in GA and miss the PacNW so much it physically hurts. Thank you for this video.

@@MissJBradford I guess I just kind of wandered off. I lost my job and winter was coming so I just kept driving South. And then East. I'm in Florida, visiting a friend now, but I'm sure to zag when it warms up! I'm glad you're back home. Stay cozy!

Thank you for this. After living in the midwest for 35 years, I spent 2 years in southern Oregon. I'm now back in the midwest and my soul aches for the hiking trails and the coast every single day. This is as close as I can get. Thank you.

Same. Grew up in the midwest, spent 3 years in southern Oregon, and now back in the midwest. I've been back to Oregon 3 times since; I can't wait until the next time!

Nice but too fast to change scenes and the sound is entirely fake. For that time video we want slow absorption and not so many scenes crammed in one video. This is not relaxing, more a tour of coastal beaches

I remember CBS was showing the very prestigious Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia a few years ago. The golf course is considered as having one of the most majestic landscaped courses in the world. CBS would leave an "open mic" so TV viewers could hear the background of "natural sounds of birds" as the golfers played. Apparently a lot of golfers are also birdwatchers too. Those "natural exotic bird sounds" heard around the course these bird watchers said were not from native birds, but from many birds that would ever visit the area. They said CBS was using bird sounds from such far away places as New Zealand and Australia and from other birds from places that would never venture anywhere new Georgia. CBS fessed up and admitted the "natural bird" songs were added to the telecast. Perhaps that's what's happening here too along with the surf. I have some old CDs with surf, waves crashing against the boat sounds, rain, storms, etc. that I use to relax. I probably use it the same way you do as a steady and concentrated rhythmic stream to achieve relaxation.

@@delstanley1349 Nice story! The thing is, this video is in slow-motion, so the "native" sounds can't be technically played. Probably some of the sounds used in this video were recorded in the same place or even at the same time, but (of course) edited.
