You guys have the best attitude toward life and hiking! It’s really a pleasure to watch your videos. 😊
River crosses looked dangerous. They need to have bridges across. Glad you safely made it!!! Enjoying watching your videos!!
Crazy river crossings at McCabe, Return, and Spiller Creeks. Great effort today and stay safe.
I would keep your bear canisters through Tahoe. There are many bears in the Sierra. Hanging your food does not work well. Love viewing Yosemite.
WOW some DEEEEEEEPPPP river crossings 😵😵😵😵
You guys are rocking the trail. Clouds rest is a brutal hike without a pack and those ice water river crossings are no joke. You’re positive attitudes are an inspiration!!
Great going guys. Forgot to thank you for the many views of Yosemite. I've been there many times but have never seen hiking views of the trails to and from Tuolumne and Tenaya.
All the weird half-built-looking stuff at Glen Aulin is the High Sierra Camp site. The HSCs are a half-dozen established campgrounds in the Yosemite NP high country. The idea is that they form a loop, and you can do a European-style trip where you get a bed (cot?) and a hot dinner and breakfast every day. Between snow and Covid, they haven't been open since 2018! But apparently they'll be open again this year.
Wow! The water crossings are crazy! Stay safe.
Hello! I live by Tahoe area, the bears are very active there raiding people houses and garbage! Your getting very good crossing the raging rivers.!😂
Every time you say seal skin socks you should add the disclaimer that no seals were harmed in the making of them.

Those river crossings look terrifying.
Awesome, good job with those water crossings. Stubblefield Canyon Water crossing tomorrow will likely be your deepest crossing. Chest Deep w/pack over your head if you are lucky enough not to have to swim ....enjoy!
So beautiful, looks like you painted the clouds in the video!
You’ve probably heard that this section is called the washboard. That’s because it is continuously up and down with a lot of water crossings. One of the more grueling sections. But you guys are tough!! Be safe especially on Rancheria!
I was taught on stream/river crossings turn sideways facing up stream and side step across leaving 3 points in the water for stability 😊
You can also try a repellent with Picaridin - it's just as effective as DEET and doesn't smell at all and isn't oily. Buy Sawyer Picaridin lotion at Amazon. We never use DEET any more.
Can I ask if your sealskins socks fill with water when you cross. I was telling someone how pleased you were with them. I guess if you took them off before crossing and then put them back they’d keep your feet dry in wet shoes. Another great video.
Headed there next week for a PCT section hike, Glen Aulin to Sonora pass. So, keeping my eyes peeled for your updates, thank you!! I'm curious if we'll need micro spikes or ice axes for the upcoming passes. We used that lemon eucalyptus spray for our JMT hike 2 years ago, and the mosquitoes ate us alive like it was flavoring. One of the bottles broke and leaked in our bear box and ruined some food. 🤮 I'm glad it's working for you all.
Do you guys swim in any of the lakes on the trail? I know they’re cold but it’s nice to jump in for a minute or two (I’ve done it in the Ansel Adams Wilderness).
Please tell us what brand of mosquito repellent you found that works and smells like lemons
