The trail being a full river with waterfalls is WILDDDDDDD
There are advantages to hiking through in the snow. Not a lot of glissading in August. It also looks like the snow was well consolidated with no or very little postholing.
Dan has the skill and balance of a mountain goat!
What a great group!
You guys, and the tramily, are doing so well! Oh, and having fun‼️
Great views and video’s thanks for taking us along
Sardines! That’s the funniest 💩 Thanks for sharing your journey ☺️🤌
Great views! 🥾🥾
Great video! You guys make the pct look like fun. I've watched several pct you tubers over the last 3 years. Your tramily is the most cohesive and organized I have ever seen. Thanks for taking me along. I can't wait for your next vid and happy birthday to Dan!
Love the views you're capturing I'm guessing you guys may return at some point to do a deeper dive you're actually going by a lot of really fun 3-4 day long weekend hikes One of them is driving to VVR and doing a loop out over Silver and back along that ridgeline to the left Of course you're coming into the Mammoth orbit which has at least a dozen excellent short to long, trail, JMT and SHR access points
@ 2:50 Douglas Phlox 🙂 @ 8:52 Mt Ritter (left) and Banner Peak. Ritter is above Garnet Lake on the JMT section, Banner is over 1,000 Island Lake 🙂
Lerve you guys! Feelin the good vibes 😊
Was that you getting your ice axe back?? Hope you had fun in Mammoth!
Congrats on your B-day 🎉 you folks stay safe out there 😊
Enjoying your videos. Hope you make it. Looks good so far 😊
Couple PCT questions: is anyone out there carrying a weapon/gun? I never see anyone talk about packing that in their kit. Are your #2s/deuces comin out nice? I'm much less worried about bears or snow than I am " where and how will I take a crap"?
You’re the best, thanks for sharing the names of your whereabouts as I love tracking your route. Hope you had a great game of sardines.
Question. What app are you using to show route, elevation profile, and statistics at the end of your videos? Does logging tracks eat up a lot battery?

It is on Farout! We just use the bottom button to create a route at the end of each day!

@@RachandDanOutdoors Thx. Has battery consumption been a concern on the longer stretces (ie, high sierras)?
