thank you so much for making this, i've always been curious as to the ride of the pacific dory's. please make one when it gets snotty out. hawaii is big rough water... heard they plane really low so you can just take your time and match ocean conditions...

Do many guys use aluminium boats to beach launch in Oregon?

Yes they are becoming more popular. Koffler boats are pretty nice. The aluminum doesn’t slide on the sand very well

Must be a fairly light boat, there is no way I could lanch my boat on that beach. Min 2 ft draft and about 4500 lbs. Would like to see a walk around of the boat.

It’s about 2000lbs loaded. 22ft long the key is the flat bottom it does compromise the ride in snotty weather but makes for a very stable fishing platform

How far out?

In pc you you can start fishing in about a quarter mile or keep heading north two or three miles

Please look at the other videos of fishing at PC. Maybe you could emulate them. Cut out boring stuff. Good luck you need it. Oh and great job at leaving you dory floating in the surf. Luckily that other guy was there to protect his boat by pushing yours out of the way

You obviously don’t have a clue about what you’re talking about. So as you type away in your parents basement keep doing what you do best... being a fucking KZread troll

@@kiawandajr1097 All these keyboard though guys, I’ve been doing Dory fishing trips to pacific city for about 10 years now first three trips were with Dave the original owner of Eagle CHarters RIP Dave, since Dave passed I’ve been going with Grant Rillette. I can attest to the fact that the Dory launch is an art and it makes me laugh when these morons get on here running their necks when non of them could do it or have the balls to do it. Great video my guy.
