Beautifull bonsai 😍
👏👏👍merveilleuse collection !
Impressive collection.......that Sierra Juniper at 7:09 must be a few hundred years old. Lovely.
Beautiful collection, and excellently filmed and presented. Thank you for this visual tour. 👍 That hinoki cypress at 2:22 is crazy 😝 and looks like it might have been planned on graph paper 😮

Some classy bonsai, to be sure, but what is that horrible "square branch" bonsai (at 0:11) doing in this collection? The only stimulation it gives me is a sort of "Hang Em' High in Transylvania" nightmare. 😦 Toss it into the next bonfire, please.

No, it is such a cool tree! It is actually an old Chinese style of doing Bonsai/Penjing.

@@bonsaiempire Yes, I have seen drawings of that style. It is dreadful. I don't have to tell you that one of the major goals of bonsai is to resemble "real" trees in their "natural" setting ... as much as possible. Think of all the work and planning that goes into the best bonsai trees with regard to branch spacing and 360° view perfection ... even 'literati'. That thing at 0:11 is fugly. It should be left to dry out and used as kindling. I don't think you'd accept a topiary bonsai, would you? Would you?

@@bonsaiempire I realize that you would like for me to appreciate it for at least the work & dedication that was needed to create it and I do respect your enthusiasm. I can tell you that I am capable of ripping out a V-12engine from a Ferrari and replacing it with a two-stroke lawnmower engine. It would take a lot of work and planning for it to be drivable but I can do it. The question is, "Why would I do it?"
