What about the Pac man racing game.. They used the movies from world?

As so many others are saying, I really hope we get the Pac-Man World series on modern consoles someday. Hopefully, Namco is working on it. His character model looks like it came straight from those games. Being able to take them on the go via Switch would be fantastic. Also, hope for Ms. Pac-Man on Switch someday if they ever get the licensing worked out. Otherwise, I'll be forced to buy one of those $300+ arcade cabinets.

Walmart used to sell small handheld Ms. PAC-MAN arcade games for $20 by Basic Fun, and officially licensed by Namco/Bandai. I dunno if they still make them though. Also, you can get Ms. Pac-Man officially for 5 bucks on your phone.

@@thedirectorscut4848 but they do? They’re only not allowed to make NEW arcade machines of Ms. Pac-Man, they’re allowed to resell it as a port, just can’t be an arcade machine.

I would like to see a Namco Museum game get an actual museum just like in the first 5 volumes for the PS1. It should have the exhibits too, like Pamphlets, Artwork, and Instruction cards. Who agrees?

The Pac-Man Museum logo reminds me of the JumpStart ones.

Four syllables: Pac-Mania. Just as addictive now as it was when I spent tons and tons of money playing the game in Philadelphia arcades before they started closing one by one in 1995. Out of three arcades placed within four blocks on the same street in downtown, only one kept an Pac-Mania arcade machine. That arcade at 15th & Chestnut once swallowed a whole paycheck ($60 when I was fourteen), and Pac-Mania was the game that ate the majority of it. I was playing the original arcade Pac-Man since I was three (1981) and still enjoy it. But it was Pac-Mania that was the peak of the arcade Pac-Man games for me.

I wish they included the Pac-Man world games but that's just me wishing. This still seems like a great pac-age

@@smg4reblooperd182 Aight, just stop. There's clearly a TON of references to World in this game. Remember how Ms. Pac-Man was DLC in the last Museum? That can CLEARLY happen again and include the World games and The New Adventures as additional DLC.

FINALLY, PAC MAN BATTLE ROYALE! I was so sad when the game that included it was canceled for the Wii U, so I’m so happy to see it back on another Nintendo Console!!😄

Museum hub, the arcade version of Arrangement finally getting it's deserved home port, and some really good looking presentation. Only fear is the use of coins, getting a strong feeling it's gonna be micro-transaction heavy.

I feel like micro-transactions will be an inplication that this will be a free to play game. They may also give you a one time fee bundle to play all the games without credits. That is common for arcade based compilations with micro transactions like Capcom Arcade for iPhone.

Man, this compilation looks awesome! I know that Namco has rereleased a good chunk of these titles many times before, especially the original PAC-MAN, but regardless it feels great to have a dozen and two of the ol' dot muncher's many outings all in one place. The fact that Pac-Mania and the arcade version of Pac-Man Arrangement are here is enough to get me excited. All in all, this is lookin' to be a great package! Now if only the Pac-Man World games were included...

When I found out that the original Pac-Man Museum got delisted, I was pretty upset. But when I saw the news about this new Pac-Man Museum, I got excited. I can't wait to play these games again, especially Battle Royale and Pac-Land.

They literally have references to Pac-Man World in this (Pac-Mans Idle Animation, and the fact that Chomp Chomp is here in his World 1 design) Either they are planning to add PMW as DLC or are gonna do a Pac-Man World Trilogy Collection

Well, I absolutely love this and will be getting it day one. The whole arcade room with customizable thingies in it is SUCH an appreciated feature and really adds to the experience. Not to mention, this collection has a phenomenal set of games in it to choose from! Thank you Namco 💖! I hope you guys will also do the same for Pac World down the line too. Great set of games there that deserve more exposure 🤞

I love how the narrator is just screaming every sentence at me. This is fantastic. I want this guy narrating my video games.

@@paperluigi6132 Pac & Roll Remix was basically more Pac & Roll DS levels, just using an analog stick, instead of the touch screen! Plus it looks a little cleaner on Wii. Plus now being on new systems, it will look even better!

@@odysseusonwii Yeah. Pac Motos and Pac'N Roll should both be in widescreen. It looks like it's just emulating the Wii versions, so 16:9 shouldn't be a problem.

I feel like if you guys are gonna include both Pac-Man Arrangements, you should rename Pac-Man Arrangement (Console Version) to Pac-Man Remix. (The same name given to it in the iOS Port.)

Very happy to see the original arcade version of Pac-Man Arrangement get a rerelease after so long, but I must admit I'm surprised they included Pac in Time but not Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures as the former is technically the sequel to the latter (Both games have the Ghost Witch of Netor as the villain).

This is a gigantic W. I saw Ms. Pac there. :D

But what about CE DX? I know it's like a dollar on Steam but it'll be still nice

Ms Pac Man has some legal issues behind it... don't ask why, I'm too law-stupid to explain, and I assume they felt like championship edition was enough that dx didn't need to be on there. But yeah I agree.

Always nice to see a new Pac Man collection especially when Arrangement (the arcade version) is included and I like that there's a bit more to do in the collection with how you can decorate the arcade. Can't help but notice the lack of a couple of games that would have elevated this collection like the Pac Man World series of games, and Pac Man 2 though.

Honestly seeing pac man run around that arcade brings me back to my childhood playing pac man world 2 I hope at some point we see the pac man world trilogy get on modern consoles and possibly a pac man world 4 that would be amazing

I was expecting just the same Pac-Man games you see in those old plug-and-play systems, but I'm glad to see they really went for a wide selection.

What I have been waiting for, ever since the original Namco Museums, is the return of the "Virtual Museum" where I could learn about the game, see merch, see the PCB, etc. Those original PS1 games were magical, and every Namco Museum game since has let me down because they're just game compilations, when I loved the actual museum the most!

You can't hide from Pac Man 2 forever, Namco.

Hear me out... I've seen this method of ''releasing a collection of most of the classic or past games'' just before a big release for the franchise and guess what might come next for pacman?? IM JUST SAYING, it MAY or MAY NOT HAPPEN, it's just a theory, but many franchises have done this, so I HOPE after this we get our deserved Pac-man World Remaster, and if a remake is happening pls do it with no rush and take your time while not TOO long but ALSO bring something fresh to the formula

I don't think there's enough fans for a pac world trilogy + Pac man World Rally release I'd love to be proven wrong because I'd get then all if even I'd sold separately but especially if it's two games on a single switch cartridge

I’m pretty excited, I hope they play into the fact that this is Bandi, and include all of the classic games for the arcade as end game unlocks.

the energy of excitement in this is fantastic and needs to be in more announcements

YOOOOO! Share that Pac-Man love! It's really dope to see stuff like Pac in Time and Pac N Roll available on this. And the 3D walk around arcade with the lil statues looks so adorable. I know we all want Pac-Man World remakes, but I see this as the first step to acknowledging Pac-Man history. Cause normally we just get some dumb iOS game or another port of the original arcade game lol. I'll totally be picking this up.

The ghosts don't even speed up in the console version. Probably the weakest PSP arrangement. Galaga being the strongest.

One of the best things about Pac-Man Museum+ nobody seems to be mentioning is that this collection isn't branded with The Ghostly Adventures.

It doesn’t matter in the least to me. As long as you’ve got the games who really cares? And personally I do like pacman’s design in ghostly adventures. It was actually used in Pac-Man party before ghostly adventures was a thing so that’s actually where it originally came from. The shoes and blue eyes are nice.

@@callinater6133 To be clear, I was mostly being facetious. Of course I recognize that the game selection here is more meaningful than whatever style or aesthetic that this collection uses. I was just lightly teasing how The Ghostly Adventures and Pac-Man's redesign never really took off beyond a few games along with the criticism it often gets. With that said, I will admit that seeing Pac-Man's classic design being used again for Museum+ appealed to my nostalgia and it made me a little more excited for this collection's release.

Yo they got pac man arrangement my favorite game of all time since playing it on playstation 2 back in the old days I remember beating the whole game and that game is going to be day 1 on my ps4. ^^

I was beginning to worry that we weren't gonna get our inevitable Namco Museum release for this year. Aside from missing Pac Man 2 this seems like its the most definitive Pac Man collection aro- *"PAC-IN-TIME"* Uh, actually, you know what? I just realized I'm broke.

So excited to see Pac-Man Arrangement coming back! I loved playing that with my mom as a kid on the GameCube :)

This looks great and I'm definitely going to buy it when it comes out. I wish Ms Pacman was included in the completion but hopefully as DLC or a separate title by Hamster Corporation or Flying Tiger Arcade.

I think that despite the fact that Namco owns Ms. Pac-Man as a character, they don't own her game since that was made for the American market by Midway, who were too greedy and couldn't wait for Namco to make an official sequel.

I was going to say "Another one of these?" But after seeing the games that were added, I'm actually very happy to see that there's a good amount of different types of Pac-Man games Still waiting for another 3D platform like the Pac-Man World Trilogy, but this collection is pretty dope ngl

I love this and will be 100% getting this but what I REALLY want is a collection of the first 3 PacMan World games

I wasn’t going to get it until they added these rare pac man games. Now I’m hype

All that and no Pac-Man World 1 and 2????

Finally Pac-Land is in a collection! My wife gonna be thrilled(her favourite game of all time). This is a pretty fantastic collection all round. Can't wait!

The only Pac-Land I've ever played was the NES port (from Virtual Console on the Wii), so I'm pretty excited to play the original arcade version, too!
