Hey Chewwy! This is the controller from that night. I was wondering why there were so many planes flying into DFW when I was controlling approach! I live in the area and that night there were tornadoes as well as baseball sized hail. So yeah, pretty bad stuff. Thanks for flying out and I hope to see you on the scopes soon! -Clay Brock

You know what I like about Chewwy? The fact that he is on short finals, in the worst weather, battling for controls, yet he reads out the follows and subs. Shows he actually cares he's streaming too

Hey Matt, it's me again.. I just took the plunge and bought the pmdg qots, your videos are the reason why I bought and love it. While watching stream I saw a friend do the "monsoon approach" mission in fsx. I thought since it's a 747 the pmdg version would be very fitting. A video of yours I'd love to see anytime would be a "monsoon approach" in a singapore/airlines cargo into changi! Of course you can't satisfy everyone's requests though, if you are ever bored, which I doubt, take a look at this suggestion! Have a good day

Haha the wings on final looks like that April fools "Ad" prank where this aircraft called dreambird 1417 and the wings flap to gain more speed and hight. But love this btw man... and I'll watch one of your steams because the steams seem interesting.

I've never flown in that kind of situation because the planes i fly (General aviation for flight training), I'd die with that kinda turbulence. But, I must say, great approach and landing! In those situations they say you just try to maintain a decent speed and just focus the flight instruments until you get visual of the runway.

That’s what happens when you enter a thunderstorm! Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots. If this were real life, you would have disassembled the airplane in-flight. You want to stay at least 5 miles from a thunderstorm, but 20 miles is recommended. If a storm is looming above the airport, you will be put on hold until it passes, or you will divert to your alternate airport.

I professional pilot would have gone around multiple times, they had full GS deflections which requires a missed approach by many airline company rules. No professional pilot would take up on a challenge like that, it's just not necessary. Just hold until the weather passes, or divert. No need for action on a passenger jetliner, we ain't the air force lol.

I know it is an old comment and the channel is not taking aviation that seriously but I can't ignore the fact of such a misplaced comment as yours. This was as far away as possible from a "true professional approach performance". I don't know where you can see that during this approach. Every single item of an unstable approach you can find, are being scored here. Not once, did he act or performed professional here. The comment is an insult to real professionals who sometimes execute approaches into real nasty weather. The channel is maybe entertaining for some, but it is not even close to being "professional".

The weather radar will only detect precipitation and turbulence, so of course you won't see anything if you're flying in any other conditions apart from the ones I've just listed. Please read the manual.

The approach flown shouldn't be a CAT 3, 2, nor 1. CAT 3 goes down to 700RVR and as you can see, way better than that. When the PAPIs come into site, hes 3.4 DME and at the 1000 above annunciation, hes below the clouds. Hes VFR so technically hes fine to disengage the AP. AP's are only so good, flying in this with the AP on would be a mistake.

To let me know I have a question about the P3D emulator which is an airplane activation process. I have emulated the P3D emulator and I installed it on the machine and thankfully I also bought a plane from the PMDG 777 and fixed the plane but the problem I need is to activate the plane and enter the key number. If possible help me in how to enter this activation key. Thank you
