P!nk, Christina Aguilera and Mel C are the most versatile female singers. As a fact they successfully sang rock, urban , R&B, dance, pop, folk, Latin, Brit pop and so on. Listen to albums such as “Can’t Take Me Home, Northern Star , M!ssundaztood, Stripped etc etc.

+ Tadiwa Brandy is one of my favorite singers, my absolute favorite in the r&b music department. I wouldn’t include her in a list of the most versatile singers though. I own every album (Brandy, Never Say Never, Full Moon, Afrodisiac, Human and Two Eleven) and they’re all essentially R&B. She might have included elements of UK garage in Full Moon and elements of dance in the following records but she didn’t experiment with rock,trip-hop, eurodance, disco, Motowns, folk etc etc. She only recorded r&b albums. I don’t know the other ladies you mentioned, they must be the typical vocalists with ordinary tones that sound all the same and you easily find in a church. I've just searched for Keke on YT. Guess what? She sings R&B. “Versatility” was the argument.

I loved the way P!nk kept looking over at the backup singers. The way she just kept watching them singing and seemed to just love their voices. They were amazing and so is she. Love this cover!!

Not too put down any of the current pop women, but none of them really compare. It is no surprise why pink has had such a long and successful career. Her longevity is really unparalleled because of her lyrics and her ability to hit these amazing high notes and immediately go low a second later with such ease

I think one of the reasons we all feel like she doesn’t get the credit is that there is probably none that would be enough. She has worked her ass off for years. I am certain that history will marvel at the spectacle of Pink in years to come.

I love that she looked at her background singers when they were doing there thing...many lead singers forget about the voices that support their performance and make it a great one!

When she wails into that higher register towards the end and sits just off the microphone ... I heard heaven open and hearts breaking. What a voice. What a woman. This is not a "cover" version. With this performance Pink uncovers something in this song that makes me rethink the ritualistic (the idea that it is something we go through) nature of suffering.
