Sorry, but you gotta WRITE good music too, and not just sing well on covers. There's thousands of buskers out there standing on street corners that can sing their asses off, but they're never leaving those street corners because they have nothing original to offer.

The cover artist's name is Davina Michelle- a Dutch artist. After this video Pink got in contact with her and Davina even opened for Pink at her concert :)

My parents were swimming in a pool in Vegas and started talking to this woman after my dad complimented one of her tattoos. They ended up chatting for like 20 min about different things and somehow it came up that they didn't have plans for that night but were hoping to catch a show. She said "would you like to come to mine?" It was Pink! My parents probably never would have recognized her even with the sunglasses off but she was so incredibly kind and had someone come over and take their information and sure enough there were 2 tickets at will call for them that night. My dad still finds ways to tell complete strangers how nice of a woman she is.

I love Pink she’s such a genuine and humble person. The expression on her face when says well that needs to change. Tells you how sincere she is in her statement.

Pink doesn’t give herself enough credit, her voice doesn’t crack and she doesn’t struggle. The songs just flow out of her, effortlessly. She’s an amazing singer, and she should give herself more credit.

That’s our Pink... she stands in her own greatness while supporting others in their greatness. A true QUEEN.

My favorite Garth Brooks story is about his song Thunder Rolls, he got it, he didn't know how to sing it, he gave it to Trisha Yearwood before they were married, and she wasn't as big a star as she would be, and she sang the song and he said, oh now I know how to sing it, and then asked for it back, and she gave it back to him, and he turned it into one of the biggest hits of his career. I love Pink, she's so real and honest.

Now, I have been a fan of P!nk's since Can't Take Me Home...I adore her, and I'll be honest when I say I'm no huge Taylor fan (nothing to do with her, I'm just not massively keen on her music) but...BUT...I have seen videos of Taylor Swift in children's hospitals literally taking the time to teach them to play the guitar. I've seen her surprise a couple at their wedding, all because she'd seen them covering one of her songs... My point, I hear you ask...you absolutely CAN (and will continue) to see Taylor like this! @Rachy B maybe. Imho P!nk is genuine. TSwift does things for attention & acknowledgment. She (Swift) _needs_ public approval. She has several songs with lyrics about not caring what people think or she has a bad rep or people keep talking about her. Why would anyone go into that industry? Those record labels are so cookie cutter and corrupt and abusive and downright sketchy. No amount of fame and wealth is worth the scars you have when you come out.

It wasn't Pink who actually did something about it..after this clip she Davina Michelle was invited to a famous Dutch music programm for singers and she became very famous in the Netherlands. She only met Pink few years later as she was invited to be the opening act for Pink.

She’s so humble & genuine, I honestly believe she’ll reach out & get that girl signed ASAP.

I met Pink when she was doing mall tours ♡♡ she let a bunch of teenagers follow her around the mall while she shopped afterwards and she smiled and laughed the entire time.

Pink being humble enough to publicly admire that fan/singer is awesome

Nothing will be as good as Pinks. She's awesome but Pink's blows my mind. One of the best singer n songs ever.

I love pink and her brutal honesty. How she supports her fans who do covers of her songs, pink is a masterpiece in and of herself.

Already happened. She's recorded and opened with Pink. She headlined at Eurovision (The Power of Water) in 2021 and has several singles and released her album. She is well loved by her fans.

The fact that PINK recognizes that meaning behind the song and why it is important to her and that Davina was making her feel the power behind it. PINK knows she has talent and she doesn't need to prove that to anyone. She is an amazing mother and her reaction is amazing and shows her daughters how women should be building each other up instead up tearing each other down. More artists needs to be like this. So much talent is waiting to be heard and appreciated and PINK gave this woman the ability to share her passion. Thank you PINK.

Recognizing the talent of someone else does not diminish your own talent and accomplishments at all. It is not the olympics. Pink obviously loves music and want people to have the chance to hear a talented girl as Michelle. Music lovers can now enjoy both of them

When Pink said "That was fine" I had to laugh out loud! Then she followed it with a huge compliment. Genuine and shows she's got what most celebrities lack, humility. Now, I'm going to watch this again.

Pink is an absolute boss. Beyond humble and rathet funny as well. I love how supportive she is of the cover.

I love Pink for lifting her up. So often when people feel inferior they take it to a negative place because they feel threatened. Pink has an amazing voice and incredible talent. She’s amazingly humble and kind. I have always respected her but that feeling has skyrocketed. And Davina is incredible as well.❤

It takes a true super star talent to feel secure enough to admit, on camera, that someone she’s never heard of delivered her song “better.” MAD respect.🙌🙌🙌
