Even P!NK herself watched Davina sing it in a cover and said she sang it better then she did. And P!NK did it pretty damn good. So that's saying something. Especially when you get to sing at her Beautifull Trauma Tour. The range she has is exceptional and powerfull.

@@matteedstrom The backing vocalist adding something on top doesn't take away anything from Davinas singing. It's sad that people think like that. Queen is not the greatest band ever because Freddy Mercury was the greatest singer. Queen is the greatest band ever because he knew that he had bandmates that could contribute to his singing and he knew exactly where and he knew what else they had to contribute. Having an ego of "I am the greatest and no one can improve on what I am doing" is the first step to failure.

I totally agree with you. I know the backing vocal personally. She is incredibly musical, can sing many genres fantastically and her pronunciation is amazing. Without wanting to criticize Davina, I am often disturbed by her pronunciation (which could be just me). Musically and lyrically Davina is certainly very good. But I'm not really a fan to be honest.

@@johnwuyts Eva draait al een dikke 20 jaar mee in de muziekwereld heeft vele bekende Nederlandse en Belgische artiesten mogen ondersteunen als backing, meerdere keren op grote podia gestaan en is een veel gevraagde en door de muziekwereld gewaardeerde backing. Als je maar 1 liedje kijkt zijn het idd "maar" 30 seconden. Maar denk eens alle backings weg, dan wordt een lied vaak echt veel kaler. Dat is ten minste hoe ik het beluister. Ik wil u niet overtuigen van de kwaliteiten van Eva-Jane. Ik WEET wat ze kan. Hoe ze liedjes naar een hoger plan kan trekken. Daarvoor hoeft het niet perse iemands ambitie te zijn om front te gaan zingen als bekende zanger. Ik heb haar vaak genoeg in een front rol mogen zien en iedere keer genoten. Ik zeg verder niks over of Davina haar "nodig" heeft. Ik spreek enkel mijn waardering uit voor wat hier gebeurde. That's all.

I dare to go even further, Pink might have written this, but when she realized Davina did a better job vocally then herself, the thought must've crossed her mind like; "Shit! I've wrote this, but this girl is acing this track, I might aswell give it to her". Pink will never admit this statement, (Nor should she) but deep down she realizes it's the truth. I don't want to take anything away from Pink, as she's a class singer/songwriter, but especially in this performance, she got outdone by Davina.

Gosh I wanna cry now. This girl's talent and voice are out of this world. I so much love the raspiness in her voice and the fact she sang live and in a rather laid-back way makes me admire her even more. Amazing!

Can we take a moment and appreciate the perfect back vocals done by that girl in the background. Amazing performance by both.

I can't imagine any one not choking up the first time they hear Davina sing this cover of P!nk's What about us. I've seen it five times and I still have a lump in my throat.

Whoever engineered this arrangement is a rockstar. Her voice on its own is amazing and bringing in only one other harmony at the end could only work if the solo backup artist is also an amazing singer. Powerful and stuck on the brain.

I’ve never heard anyone do a song better than the original yet sound like the original voice and sound so effortless. Her voice is so powerful and so effortlessly done in this song. Each word is so eloquently pronounced and cleanly pronounced too. The original isn’t the same, it seems like the artist has to put her all in to get it out and this artist doesn’t have the problem: I’ve never seen someone do this with a song
