In case anyone else was curious of the results of the battle: Filip won, but Albina was stolen by another coach and went on to the live playoffs. Neither of them ended up being the winner for the season at the end. Definitely one of the best duets I've ever seen, they really compliment each other.

Who's listening to this masterpiece in 2024

WOW. I first heard this version of Lovely by Filip and Albina this week and it is by far my favorite cover of this beautiful song. The vocals are phenomenal their harmony stellar. Albina has a beautiful voice but there is something uniquely beautiful about Filips voice and his presence. His tone his falsetto just beautiful. I have become a huge fan of Filips. This performance led me to want to know more about Vanna. Again WOW. I’m from America this is my first experience with Croatian vocal artists and I am now a fan of Vannas as well. I came across a video performance of Vanna doing Ivana from 2008 I love this performance. I have no idea what is being sung I do not know Croatian but that says a lot about this performance doesn’t it? This performance of Ivana by Vanna and this rendition of Lovely are now my chill fixes😍I listen frequently and view. They r both on my playlist as r many of Filips songs. I wonder does Vanna follow those she coached? I wish we had more Croatian news updates in English it’s been difficult to access update details. I also need a translator app I suppose😍I do know Filip is a singer songwriter and both he and Albina won Porin awards for new artists and they both were selected by Dora 21 for Eurovision. I know Albina won and Filip a favorite performed what I believe was his first single “Blind” I also believe he has written other songs that have hit the Croatian top charts. I have many of his songs and this performance by Vanna on my playlist now and am looking forward to discovering more about both of these artists. I also heard Filips Everyday View its beautiful. I saw a few collabative videos with Filip and others pre his being on the voice did not compliment his voice. His blind audition and after being coached by Vanna well again WOW!!! Of course he has the talent as does Albina but thank you Vanna and the voice Croatia for this stellar duet which is the best I’ve ever seen and for introducing me to Croatian artists❤️🙏🏻🌈

I wanted to add I believe Filip won another Porin Award for one of his songs but I don’t know which one. I did not even know what a Porin Award was nor Eurovision and Dora until I saw this version of Lovely. I think they both should present this together for Eurovision and represent Croatia. If you like Filips vocals I suggest you listen to a song he covered in a concert for an iconic band called Parni Valjak and the song is called A gdje je ljubav. Being a huge fan of the band I can tell you that he covered the song almost perfectly. Since the singer of the band pased away he was rumored to take over in his place but I guess he decided to focus on his own music.

When it's not important who won this battle, because both of them are already winners. That's a spectacle.

Even though it is technically a 1v1 battle, it doesn't feel like it. It feels like a perfect dance of voices, both of the singers giving 100% to perfect their part, together producing argueably the best cover for this song. Purely amazing
