I was one of the background artists who worked on a few scenes here (the 2nd, 5th and 9th one). I can't praise the story-boarders, animators and illustrators enough. The time and dedication they put into working on this was extraordinary and it was a pleasure to be able to work on the backgrounds in which these animations could shine!

Imagine how awful they would feel about their skills and effort. You could stop someone from pursuing their dreams with a remark like that man. I'm sorry for ranting or being rude, but please be mindful of how harsh words could affect an aspiring animator.

Well it's a perfect fit for him. He's almost always just watching from the sidelines as antics occur, and being one would help him "be present" when they happen, regardless of terrain or confines of the spaces. Same with him being a Boo, or a fairy in Zelda-based animations.

This was super fun to work on and one of my favorite GG moments. Thanks everyone for your support!!!

oh goodness yes, I loved it when puppet-arin climbed onto his remote with an ''I'm alright" while still having the dagger embedded in his puppet-chest

Whenever Dan calls Arin "Big Cat", I always imagine an animated of Arin as a large, very angry, puffed out pink cat sitting in a rage bun on the couch, & Dan is petting him to calm him down. 😾👋

Nic did really great work with his storyboarding and unfortunately the animator he was paired up had some life events pop up, but we decided to keep Nic’s work in anyways because we really love him!

From start to finish, this was jam packed with such charm. A 5 minute animation video with this much beans is definitely what I needed in these trying times. Just a barrage of amazing little moments. This was bliss, thanks you guys for all your hard work, this video was magical.

I appreciate that Dan and Arin highlight their talented, devoted fans' works. And the animations add to the humor in such inventive yet often subtle ways.

the way "jimmy's got back" was animated was everything i was hoping for and so much more

0:24 Finally Liquid Game Grumps

No matter how many times my favorite moments in GameGrumps history get animated over and over, I will always love to see a reimagining of them.

0:35 We all need a friend to build us up when we can’t pull ourselves back together.

Dan being the best friend we always need, the one trying to keep us from going insane (or prevent Arin from going even more crazy)

I just love the fact that Arin is different shades of pink, and Dan is different shades of blue, it’s nothing big but it works so well

This bit is so legendary its had 2 whole animated about it

Lakitu Dan at 0:50 fills me with such hope. I want this as a mod for a Mario game, as if nin10do would ever allow their games to come to PC or be modded easily.

I love how every game grumps collab feels like the animator heard "You're in charge of this 30 seconds" and they responded "IT SHALL BE THE GREATEST 30 SECONDS OF ANIMATION I HAVE EVER CREATED SO ARIN LOOKS THE FUNNY WHEN HE SAYS THE GOOFY THINGS"

1:04 can we talk about how good the alex magna and al conteh segment is though?? arin stompin down that road has me cryign

2:03 the greatest part no matter who animates it. Its always golden.

Every part of this was expertly animated, but the bit with the hand puppets had me on the floor. So inventive.

I gotta say the animators who finally did Arins breakdown did a fantastic job animating him as tom jones

I know this bit better than the national anthem from my own country

0:36 Arin's utterly defeated sigh and collapsing from the waist up is just perfect, fantastic visual for that sound

That last illustration with them playing majora's mask by Angela Oddling is so cool! I want a poster of that

I never played any Mario games but I can just spiritually feel Arin's pain, just all of it.

Really cool touch. At 3:30, when Arin finally loses it and "blows up," his head turns into a mushroom cloud. Just a second long transition scene, but shows the attention to detail and love that went into this.

P.S. I think all animateds should have a scene where they're standing next to each other with a ruler behind them, showing that they are definitively the same height.

I've always loved the GG animateds, but this one stands out as one of the best collabs I've seen! Holy shit this was great! It also helps that there was a *TOOOOOON* of content to be made around, but wow the effort put into each of these is next level.

Man the 0:34 where Arin sorta melts into a blobfish and Dan builds him back up has such incredibly smooth animation I keep rewinding
