That last bit about his dad eating spaghetti killed me. I was just picturing Arin talking to his dad on the phone and being like “do you love me?”, but his dad is just too goddamn wrapped up in his bowl of spaghetti to even realize he’s talking to Arin, so he’s like “Mmmmmmm, talking spaghetti…” The image in my head made me fucking lose it.

I have to say, I am rather disappointed "Oh look it's the purples" didn't make an appearance
