Well, for starters, when Peter starts singing, that's pretty funny; then when the banjo and fiddle come in against the baroque-ish music, then the "Ja Wohls" thrown in... and the tenor singing about Kentucky, which didn't exist back then... PDQ's stuff isn't what I'd call subtle, and the jokes go by really quickly. Unfortunately, it's funnier if you're familiar with the era of music he's "tongue-in-cheeking."

A lot of the humor in this one is in the lyrics, which isn't obvious since they are in German
