This happened a month after I saw Ozzy at Chicago's Open Air Fest in July. They wouldn't allow a single day ticket for that event... this one here that was in Southern Illinois during the eclipse.

The song started in daytime, went through complete darkness and finished back in daylight.

No disrespect for Ozzy but I live down the road from the venue and I just stayed home and grilled brats. I wanted to pay attention to the eclipse, not Ozzy, tbh. I'm sure it was a great show though.

Now that will go down as one of the most legendary performances in the history of not just metal but all of music! Bark at the Moon during the solar eclipse! What a legend!

It is so perfectly timed!! First chorus everything gets dark and at the end zakk brings back the light by shredding one of the coolest guitar licks/solos in history! One of the most badass moments in rock n roll history right there!

One more wild ass thing Ozzy has done in his life.

I come back to this video every once in a while to remember how amazing it was being there in the 100F heat just soaking in the sun for days to hear and experience the Prince of Darkness performing Bark at the Moon in one of the longest durations of Totality of the Solar Eclipse 🖤 (this was way better than going to my first day of classes that semester 😂)

Now that's how to enjoy an eclipse! I wish I could have been there dammit.

Agggh!! So jealous to all the people that were there!! How amazing is this.

Compared to some of his more performances in recent years, this is actually pretty dang good. It seems they have to tune down quite a bit to make it more comfortable for Ozzy to sing, so certain songs will sound off. The fact that they did it during the eclipse made it pretty dang cool as well. You don't have to like the performance but you gotta give him some credit, at his age and after all that he has done (drugs and other crazy shit), he's doing fairly well.

Alex Vuich If you compare him to the last couple weeks when he started solo again he's on key and better I think he just had to get use to singing his songs again after doing the Black Sabbath the end tour after cause his voice was great doing those but now he just needs practice all over again

Wish I could have been there this day in 2017. I was at Ozzy concerts 1995 and 2011. Always loved him since I was born in 1975 cause my dad liked him. Ozzy means so much to me. I listen to him to lift me up

That is absolutely frickin cool. I was in St Joseph Missouri. Not only did I miss an Ozzy Osbourne concert but I couldn't see the eclipse because it was 100% cloud cover and raining.

This video is absolutely amazing!! They chose the perfect moment to do this song. I love how it is daylight in the beginning ,than it is goes to darkness , and right at the end of the song it is daylight again. This was extremely well done. Whoever did this video did an amazing job!! Bark At The Moon is definitely the perfect song for this eclipse. I remember that day very well and everyone was going crazy for this eclipse. It was a great day for sure and this video was the icing on the cake.
