I feel for him,several years ago I took my mom to town as her T.V. quite working. She picked out a T.V. and it wouldn't fit in her car, I ended up sitting at Walmart with a 65" flat-screen while waiting for my nephew to go home and get the pickup truck. It fit in the cab of the pickup, but not in the cab of the car. Cars really do suck.

Definitely loot in the boot. The junk has been moved to the "back seat," also known as the back seat.

Looting has calmed down now. Was very surprising how many communities came together to fend off the looters. Unfortunately though, there are many ppl who have lost their businesses so there's many vigilantes taking the law into their own hands. The problem now is the food shortages for the "civilised" people.

@@himansuiii At the moment its in a few locations within a handful of provinces, it does seem to be spreading, but we cant really say for sure. The big issue is that the looters are targeting warehouses and distribution so the stores that have had their shelves bought clean are not going to be able to restock.

Im in south africa. Its isolated in two provinces. Where I am its perfectly fine. Its definitely not "half of the country". Its mostly KZN and some hot spots in Gauteng. I swear South Africans are some of the most dramatic and pessimistic people in the world - I say this as a South African

Taking it out of the box would’ve literally made the biggest difference

I live in the central U.S. and this is the first time I've heard about this. Going to Google it now but until this video I had not seen one thing about this on the news or anywhere else.

This whole shitstorm here in SA is really bad, and its the reason I have no job now, but its good to get a laugh in about it.

As a South African...I just find everyone's stupidity amusing and hilarious

Turns out that stealing 58" television in that car is not a solo quest, as later demonstrated by another team in this lobby.

I can just imagine the guy gets home with the TV, gets it all set up, turns it on, and the TV blows a fuse. All that effort to steal a broken TV.

As someone who was born and raised in SA, I miss a lot of thing, but I really don't miss this kind of thing. I hope that tv falls out and breaks.

Stealing from corporates is just plain karma

I worked one summer at a hardware store and I had the pleasure of witnessing "shopping too big for the vehicle"-situations at least once a day. The office windows were towards the store parking lot and every time we saw someone coming out from the store with big item(s) on their trolley, we'd keep an eye on them and then follow as they tried to problem solve the item(s) into the car. It was quite amusing at times to see them almost dismantling/rearranging the insides of their car...and also amazing how they eventually managed to fit everything in. This guy forgot the "open every door & stand staring at the car for a moment like a stressed master chess player thinking their next move" -technique. I saw that many times at the hardware store parking lot. 😊

I often see similar situations at Bunnings and just sit back and laugh. Brings the humour and joy into my day

In my experience, this mental thought process is an every day occurrence in S.A.

It's great that this is reaching the rest of the world😭😂 especially here of all places, I love it😭😂
