As someone who has kayaked most of his life, I am genuinely impressed by the old guys skills... Not saying I'd go and watch this but this guy is definitely an athlete. (just a specific type) The dude is moving himself and the canoe through water in a very controlled way with fairly subtle movements.. His arms and shoulders must be boulders, his core a tree trunk, and have hips of a dancer... If you've ever been in a canoe, think about how much force you need to paddle.. the guy is resisting that force and gracefully turning all with great control.

The canoeing was actually super impressive! look at the way he can paddle on one side of the boat and keep it strait by leaning, or he can lean further and exaggerate that turn into a spin. He used the paddle on both sides of the boat to display perfect control of the boat in both traditional directions AND sideways ?!? If you’ve ever sat in a canoe you should recognize this man as a master.
