I bought one a couple months ago. Wanted something for just the dog and I overlanding versus the Gazelle tent when it’s the whole family, and I didn’t want to have to crawl down into and out of a small tent. Looked at some of the other brands but the price point, features/design and more importantly the size when stowed sold me. Being able to sit down and swing your legs in is a great. In the handful of times I’ve used it I’ve been very happy with it. I use a bedroll, so I find that end door handy for rolling it out/up and for letting the dog hop out to take care of business and hop back in. One thing I did was add pulls on all the zipper tabs to make it easier to manipulate and they are different for the inside and outside tabs so you can tell by feel in the dark. I’ve been considering adding a grommet to either side of the bottom of the back door flap of the rain fly to give the option of pulling it out and away unzipped or using a couple small tarp poles for times I may want better ventilation without compromising the rain fly protection, such as in a very light rain with no wind. Great video, thanks for sharing!

Good review... looks like it would be pretty comfortable, especially as we get older. lol Nice to hear that it's held up all these years later too... That skylight is a nice touch but as you explained I can see it being a conduit to wick water right down on top of ya... Be nice to see a redesign so the light was through the doors via windows..... Last year I bought the Ozark Trails Teepee tent, but not the one that was commonly seen in stock at most stores, but a pop up version. It's awesome...instead of the light creamy color the non freestanding version is, the pop up is brownish and blends into the environment better.... It sleeps two with cots and enough room for a small table with a couple of small chairs... ... and since it's pop up it has no center pole which leads to be roomy... It's actually quite robust too, alot more than I expected it to be when I seen it in a couple and only reviews here on the tube.... I'm fifty and getting older, not having to get down and up and crawl in and out of a tent is kinda nice... ... Plus in inclement weather you can have a cozy place to hang, be able to stand and walk around a bit and also sit in a chair...... lol... What's not to like... 🤷‍♂️ Need to get out and go.... Still watching for your update on the Ruger SFAR... 👍 Thanks for sharing n' God bless brother

Sorry to keep you waiting on the SFAR update. My plan is to put 300-400 rounds through it to see if it breaks in. I'm currently at 90. I've been gone for 9 weeks of training for a new job. Didn't have time or funds. My September camping trip is when I plan on getting those rounds through it. Thanks for the support!

Have you sprayed it with any water repellent? It might help the water slide down the meshing.
