This is a great feature. I hope you don’t make one special magic harmonizer track but allow for more than 1 and keep it configurable which harmonizer track is used on a certain track. That way you can play “right hand chords” over “left hand chords” without everything sounding the same like an ordinary arpeggiator.

I'm super excited! I can't for this thing to come out!

Amazing feature! Love it. As someone asked below, is it possible to interact with the harmonizer from an external keyboard connected to the MIDI input port?

It would be great if you could set a range for the harmonized tracks. When I program a bass line and then chose harmonize it turns into a screaming lead. Which isn’t what I want.

Yes! the Chord Mode of the OXI One is 🔥🔥, so these both modes work incredibly well!

My thoughts exactly. I own a NDLR and the one thing I always missed In it is playability (and a modem UI). This is taking the concept of harmoniSation based on chord progressions to a whole new level. Really hope that this wonderful machine sees the light of day within the current year.

I created a Cherry Audio voltage 2 modules to add additional control over the NDLR (eg.lfo and sequencing over every parameter) and allowing it to be part of a DAW, but harmonizing an external keyboard has proven tricky. This is a beautiful implementation.

How does this work with a MIDI keyboard? Can it detect the chord being played in so that I can change the harmony on the fly (like you showed but with played-in chords from MIDI)?

Hey! Thanks for your comment! Adding it is very feasible up to some level of intelligence 🙂 For more advanced recognition behavior we should wait for future firmware releases!

@@oxiinstruments perfect! I’m a piano player so to be able to have some MIDI chord recognition could mean that it plays along with me in an interesting way. That would be absolutely amazing!! Looking forward to the final release

At the moment, the Oxi says "Harmo Rec not supported" 🤷‍♂️🌌

Changing the Root note, or the Scale type for a Chord or Poly leader, by scrolling through the options *silently* before choosing one, so that the ongoing music transport doesn't also audibly scroll through the options? This would be a huge boost to us live jammers.... Perhaps a Shift and Push-&-Turn knob combo? Or a "knob click to confirm" choice? i am a dedicated improviser, and am trying to use the Oxi to create 100% improvised livesets, so all my thinking is focused on live musicality and jamming (been playing guitar for 34 years this year).... Thanks for everything you guys do 🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌌

You can choose to confirm the scale change instead of applying it immediately. There’s a setting for that in workflow configuration section.

Hi Carlos, the development is amazing. Great features 👍 I’m curious, what are the physical dimensions plans weight of the unit? And how long do the batteries last? Are the compositions exportable to another DAW as MIDI files?

Thank you!!! You can find all this info in our website!! Btw, it is around 1 Kg, 36 x 14 x 1.5 cm. Around 10 hours of battery power. You will be able to manage and export your proyects to MIDI with our companion app in the future!

will it be possible to record octave changes in this mode in realtime? great product, keep it up!

Recording from the keyboard already in and automations of sequence parameters like octave, gate, vel will be added soon!

Great function! does the Oxi also have a mode to generate logical chord progressions? somewhat like the conductive labs NDLR? @OXI Instruments
