I just wanted to ask, is it okay to use Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo (they're my babies!) on dog's? Honestly, I've already done this, but still would like to speak on the seemingly positive effect's. The dog's are not itching, and their fur is shinier than it's ever been since I got them 3-4 years ago. Thank's.

I used to date a woman that lived in the Niagara Region, in a small town called Thorold (next to St. Catherines), and I fell in love with Canada. I haven't been up there in five years, but not a day goes by that I don't want leave North Carolina, and return home! I say home because Thorold is my Soul-Town. You can tell he's used to getting groomed! Just like a horse who's used to getting their hooves picked and examined regularly, they'll shift their weight once you're done with one and practically hand you the next one.

I know you're joking around, but lots of people have bears living with them. Russians at always at it, and teenagers ( I assume only boys ) wrestle bears in places like Russia and Dagestan.... Don't get me wrong dogs are the best, but all animals are cool, I love to meet a friendly bear

I love how just letting the dog smell each grooming instrument helps them better accept you using it on him!

He may not be the breed they thought, but he's an absolute gem. Lucky family!

he was probably a rescue, i don't imagine a lot of people buying from breeders would go and do a dna test. if you don't trust the breeder to tell you the proper breed combo then you wouldn't be buying from them (hopefully...)

@@dia8183 he looks like he’s got a lovely night on him. Apart from the fact, his coat will need brushing every day. It does look too long so it should be relatively easy to keep. Obviously having him professionally groomed on a regular basis will help matters. His generals are not too long so he’s not drooling all over the place as much as a purebred Saint Bernard. I hope his owners enjoy the rest of his life with him.

I had to say goodbye to my 13 year old German shepherd in December. I actually found this channel the day after and have been watching ever since. It’s so therapeutic just to hear and see dogs everyday, and really helps me remember the fun and goofy times we had instead of moping around. Thanks for your hard work. And truly sorry to hear about the loss of your shepherd as well. I hope they’re playing together somewhere.

OH MY GOODNESS, Hughbert is the bestest boy. Only one year old and he’s giving you his gorgeous paw to manicure. He’s parents obviously are doing such an amazing job with him, not only teaching him the very best of manners, but getting a DNA test, to tell them that he is the very goodest boy there is. Glad you enjoyed your spa day Hughbert♥️

Sometimes mixing breeds is a mixed bag, but this gentle giant seemed to have picked up the best of both traits just from what we're seeing here. I'm sure lots of credit is owed to those who've raised him and trained him.

I have a Siberian husky pitbull German shepherd mix and she is the same! The nicest, friendliest smartest and sometimes very stubborn dog on the planet. She loves everyone except anything that runs from her triggers her prey drive and it’s all chaos. But hey, I’ll take it.

We've always had mutts and the best was a beagle/German shepherd mix. He looked like a really big beagle with German shepherd coloring, beagle playfulness and gentleness and GS intelligence. He only used his big beagle throat for really dangerous situations (intruder spying around the house) with the loudest, deepest bark I'd ever heard (boy, did that intruder run off as if his butt was on fire). There is nothing quite like an affable mutt. I love big mutts, I cannot lie.

I agree German Shepherds mix well with so many breeds. I had a beautiful GSD mix. They didn’t do DNA tests back then so I’ll never know what she was mixed with. Whatever it was, she was the best dog I ever had. She passed away from cancer in 2008 at the age of eleven and I still miss her even though I’ve had other dogs since.

Knew what this dogs genetics were right away. Hubert is exactly like Bernie who was my brother’s dog when I grew up. Best of both breeds as well, very laid back but when he went into protect mode he was a fearsome beast. He was bigger than most Shepherds were at the time and all that black nose with a growl had people backing up. There was one person he wouldn’t let out of the car and no one knew why. Random person we knew but Bernie wasn’t having him on the property. He was a wonderful fluffy beast who let brave cats sleep on him

Person was mostly likely a predator. Dogs like cats,have Amazing instincts. Always trust any pet/animal that's close to you. Horses are also very,intuitive.

My brother is the nicest guy you could meet and has been my rock all my life. I just think Jake had his card marked for whatever reason but there was never no reason to, Random personalities just like us lol

I knew what breed he was the moment I saw him… it’s very easy to tell that his breed is GOOD BOY!!! 😸

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Niagara Dog Rescue as well!! We adopted our shih tzu mix from them in 2021 and she's everything we could have hoped for. Thanks for supporting them.

I would've said Leonberger too, but when you said his actual combination of breeds that also made sense. A most excellent boy in any case, 10/10.

If Hubert had siblings I think I'd have to travel to Ontario to adopt :) He had the best patient attitude (once he did a sniff test). Giant paws get me every time. His face & the looks he gave you... even the look of enjoyment during his blowdry. He has such a solid temperament ♡

Love you mentioning an absolute lovely animal like a gecko. For us all-animal lovers, it was a great surprise. Your videos are amazing and absolutely make my day ❤

It always amazes me how big big dogs have the most laid-back personalities. I tend to be a little dog lover, but your channel could possibly make me a big dog lover!

I'm not a dog owner, and my kitty babies don't require grooming, but I throughly enjoy your videos, your voice is soothing, your humor is fun, and the care and consideration you show your non-human customers is wonderful. Very relaxing experience watching and listening to you. Also I'm glad you're able to on occassion help an animal for free.

I kind love that he's a mix between a German Breed and a Swiss Breed with a very German sounding name. His father is from Munchen and his mom is fromZurich.

They all love her too. She's a good girl for them .. funny how that is. Every time I come to pick her up, she is sitting, getting loves from all the groomers. I love these dog rescues. They have done so much to help dogs. We need to start human rescues, where you take in a homeless person and help them get on their feet, with a job and group home, after they have gone through rehab for drug and alcohol abuse.

Its a good thing he's a docile as he is, he'd be quite a handful even if he was just a bit excited. I think your general calm demeanour, is what helps to keep these dogs quiet while you work with them. That's what experience does. Only once did I take our Hamish to one of those do-it-yourself bath stations at the giant pet store, my back hurt for a week afterwards. Professional groomers are worth every penny they get paid.
