Thanks for showing the Nekton edition. That is one of the Global SubDive Triton 1000/2 sub featured on the engraving. I enjoyed executing the sub diving missions in Bermuda and Seychelles and now operate both subs in Florida and the Bahamas.
Love the watch and review! Bought the seamaster Beijing 2022 edition today from my local AD and it’s so much nicer in person. Bezel and dial stand out for me and I’m super happy with the purchase!

Excellent choice Jim! Huge Congrats to you! Thanks for watching! 😀
Really nice and such a relaxing review. I was sold on the Nekton after watching your review and I pulled the trigger today. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction as I changed my order on the Tudor Pelagos blk and now I have a two to five week delivery on the Nekton. I fully understand your stance on the PO. I have a 16.75 inch wrist so the Nekton should be okey for me. I'm also subbed on your channel.

As the owner of both a Pelagos 42 and now the Nekton, the Nekton is hands down a better choice.
Love that you mention clasp length…. Not many do, and it can be a huge problem.

Thanks so much for watching, my friend. Yeah I've been burned by clasp size before😅
The Nekton fit your wrist, it was a big boi but it didn't look out of place. I feel like you keep watches which are generally a really good fit, i.e the sbgy003. Hopefully there is a diver out there you will keep. Enjoy the PO.
Sounds like you enjoyed your time with the Nekton but the 39.5mm PO is just a better fit for your wrist. If I had to predict I expect that one to be in your collection for a longer period of time. Congrats on your newest acquisition and enjoy wearing it in the best of health! Glad that there were no collisions involved in making this deal.

I did enjoy every moment with the Nekton. But the PO....I'm almost considering calling it a "keeper" haha. Still on the honeymoon period though 😜
Thanks Sanjay We appreciate you too !

YO I watched your whole video AND I subscribed!
Congrats on your PO 🤣 Honestly these two watches both aren't my type, so I am not biased to any of them. But I am happy for you to enjoy them and this journey 😉

Thanks so much Leya! I totally understand! I’m more of a dress watch guy as well but do find a nice dive watch very alluring 😛

@@engineer_wannabe Already got today and some hand-on photos at Slack group
Just found your channel and a bit late to the party. I saw this watch at my AD and thought I would look at YT for some reviews. I had a 39.5 mm PO and ending up selling it. You mention this watch is heavy and big, my personal input on the PO is yes it is has a smaller diameter, but with 600M rating it is MUCH thicker. Mine measured 16.5 mm in height. Love the look and diameter, but it was too top heavy and thick even for my 7.25 inch wrist. With your 1 inch small wrist….it may be worse. Just my input if you haven’t already picked up a PO.
9.30 with watch on bracelet cemented this elegant no date model for me. Purchased today in Christchurch NZ. On wrist now ... ✊ 18cm... 5.5 span perfect 👌

It really is! Thanks Clayton!
great video. so ,its better to take PO 39.5 than smp 300 for my 160mm wrist ?
My favorite current Omega Seamaster and love it's a no date. Is the rotor noisy or no ?
I like the grey colour (silver) and blue in dial !!!
If it's a day date then it will be awesome!!!
Funny fact: The 8806 movement is also in the Railmaster 57 Trilogy Edition.

You are absolutely right 👊😃
Looks like a great watch especially love the no date dial. The only kink is if its connected along with the soon to be tanking 007 Gone Woke Going Broke franchise.
Can you give a link to the straps you used in the video please?
By the way I took the outer coating off of my Longines it got scratched up in 2 weeks.

I think I my view it will be nice with red strap also coz it has red on second hand and there is a red in dial somewhere!!!
Out with the 1.5 month old, in with the new!!!!

SMP 300 not for me. Omega makes great watches but their styling again is not for me 😎! Congratulations on the PO-much better.

Looks like a breitling homage on the wrist. Sorry, bezel not for me.
I like it with a breslet instead of that strap !!!

This is NOT a big watch.. Seriously what up with all these tiny wrists in the wristwatch community. The average wristsize of a male is 7,25inch. In the ww community its 6inch. This is a perfect fit and size on most men in the world. Great review anyway ;-)

OOO I wish I could pull of a Ploprof!
As the name of the watch suggests ,this time piece was built for professional divers not desk diving wannabes, every thing on this watch has been considered and designed for that reason and purpose!!!
Aggressive watch ??? ^___*
Dude... What the h*** when you do a review on a watch is b cuz you own the watch you don't borrow the watch especially a $4000 watch
