The video begins with me Birding in the woods to escape the harsh light of the midday sun. It turns out the birds were also sheltering there. Later, as the sun began to set, Short-eared Owls took to the sky and fought over hunting territory and prey! It was very exciting to watch and video!! I also saw and photographed other birds on this late fall bird outing!
