Dinosaur Park didn’t start out as my favorite song, but somewhere along the way it wormed its way into my heart and now it’s my #1 from the album

Experienced the exact same thing but with The Tornado 😂 whereas Dinosaur Park was already at the top of my list ever since I heard its intro, something about it just feels dreamy 😆.

I’d say compared to The Tornado and Sons of Thunder, it’s a bit weaker. However, I love Adam’s vocals in this one and it’s surreal!

Feels kinda of like fireflies part 2. Both feel like they are from the perspective of the wondrous imagination of a child.

My son loved dinosaurs and would have loved this song. Daddy misses you little man.

There are so many wee gems in this track. It's as if this song isn't in a hurry to finish and just cruises along, without any worries. It sounds as though Adam is in his happy place singing this one, a child at heart, and most likely a deeper meaning in amongst it all.

Now that I read your comment, I like to think that some songs are in a hurry to finish, while others don’t care and go at the pace they want to.

I see why this song is ridiculously popular because he mixes the instruments that are reminiscent of both his Maybe I am Dreaming and Ocean Eyes Album. I am getting both Fireflies and On the wing vibes from this song. Don't you guys agree? 😅

I appreciate the fact that Owl City is clean, catchy songs with good meanings I can play out loud. Rare in music these days. I love Dinosaur Park and the new album

3:30 and 5:20 Both of these parts always make me goosebumps when listening to it. The second best song in the album after The Tornado. For a six minutes song, it doesn't feel like six minutes at all.

I was born in Rapid City. Moved away and haven't been there since I was 13. I totally forgot about the dinosaurs, but we used to go a lot.

Adam has such a wonderful way of looking at the world and translating it into songs

This is one of my favorites from Coco Moon, if not maybe all his work, simply because I grew up near Rapid City and visited often growing up. I remember visiting Dinosaur Park when I was really little and have looked back at family pics from then. I still look for the dinosaurs on the hill whenever I visit Rapid City! This song just really takes me back to when I was young and visited the Hills with my family.

I’m the only one I know (other than my twin) who knows what Rapid City South Dakota is. We were born there. It is beautiful. And owl city has been a part of our lives since the beginning. Thank you for your amazing, inspirational, and wholesome music. It has been a favorite in my household for over a decade❤

I get “wake up, you sleepyhead” vibes from this song- it’s mysteriously comforting and dreamy. One more masterpiece by Owl City, well done! ❤

Decided to see how’s it going with owl city after having a nostalgia trip with fireflies and i can see it’s still great

i recently moved from rapid city, where i'd been living for nearly a decade, and i miss late night car rides up skyline drive past dinosaur park so much. you find little pieces of home in the most unexpected places

I love how the cricket chirps are on the downbeat. Then all of a sudden it sounds like it gets squished...

I actually kinda dislike the cricket part. It kinda feels like unnatural fitting for the song. It feels different than some of his songs that also contain some natural elements, which blends well with the song.

That’s because he doesn’t want to be. His song “Fiji water” on the Cinematic album talks about how he went to NYC to be interviewed by music industry execs, he ended up leaving the industry and dropped the label he was signed to because they kept asking him to do things he didn’t want to do because they were out of character for him, and as a Christian he didn’t want to be corrupted by bad influences.
