The opening of the Owl City portion of the concert last night, the song is called Cave In. I was so blown away that I was able to get this close (I was in the very front row). I had the choice to stand either here or over next to his synthesizer on the other side and I decided to stand in front of his drum set because I knew I really liked his drumming during the last concert I saw in Nashville. Just sitting there watching him drum his heart out only a few feet away from me was a pretty amazing experience. For somebody I look up to so much like Adam, I was almost breathless and so full of joy, excitement, and adrenaline standing there watching him this close. After the Nashville concert, I said I really hoped to see him again someday. I didn’t expect that opportunity would be this soon and this close to the stage. 😁 And Asheville isn’t far from where I live, so my dad and I were able to make about an hour and forty minute drive there and back all in one day. Adam should come to Kingsport TN next. Hey, Fun Fest is always looking for artists to feature in their concert series. Or at the very least, Freedom Hall in Johnson City. Just throwing that out there, haha!! 😄 ‪@owlcity‬
I’ll probably never forget, but there was this dude in the middle on the front row singing his heart out along with Adam’s songs. He was sooo intense and we both felt like he looked more like he was singing along with heavy metal music, jumping and leaning up on the rail and everything. 😂😂🤣 I can’t judge or laugh at him though, he was absolutely enjoying himself and having the time of his life, and I guess I was doing the same thing but in my own way. 🙂
