I’m so glad that this video came at a perfect time. I hope you’ll be able to save all of them. Just make sure not to water them too often. You can even extend the dry spell. They are more likely to survive more days without water that getting watered too often. Thank you so much for leaving your comment! I really appreciate it! More blessings to you! ❤️🙏🌈

Thank you for all of your helpful videos and positive messages! This one has been the most helpful! I have been having trouble with my Turkish hens and chicks (there is little information to find on their care- but I have found that they are different from traditional hens and chicks, with their dainty leaves they do require a bit more water than a typical succulent...but as with all succulents it can be a fine line!) a few days after lightly watering I noticed signs of overwatering and I used this method. I completely dried the roots until she was on dancing on the line of dehydration. I then gave (just the roots) one mist of water and let that dry completely too, then I planted her into DRY soil and she perked back up right before my eyes!!! SUCH A HAPPY PLANT MAMA MOMENT!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Great video, and it gives me hope for my overwatered jade and echeveria plants. I indadvertantly overwatered both of them and they protested by dropping a few leaves, my jade QUITE a few! I immediately knew what had happened and took them out of their pots. I did not, however, wait long enough for the root ball to dry very well. Only a few hours at most, but they went back in dry potting mix. I know it takes time so I'm in the recovery phase now, with them in dry soil and terra cotta pots. I think they'll be all right. The jade is already putting out some very small buds of new growth on some of the same places that dropped leaves and limbs and it's only been a few days now. It just looks like it got a close haircut! The echeveria has dropped some lower petals, but the core of new growth at the top of the stem seems to be OK and quite firm I'm confident they'll make it, but I learned a lesson. With watering these type plants, easy does it. Great channel and I use it as a teaching tool for myself as I'm sure most everyone but the most experienced succulent gardener has made this mistake.

They would do best under sheer sún protection, but most os my succulents are now in full sun. Some do experience some sunburn in the summer, but that just when they get too thirsty.
