You'll find that most Enemy Ultimates are announced in the character's Native Language if English is not their 1st Language.

Another interesting thing is that for tanks and damage characters, it's the "enemy" voice line you hear for yourself, but for supports its the "ally" voice line.

It's not like that, if i'm not wrong, i think that Pulse bomb, Molten core, and some other ultimates, you can't hear like, from your spawn from the enemy spawn

So generally characters will say their foreign voice line if they have one on the enemy team. But will say the English version to friendly teammates.

Ana actually has four ultimate voice lines. She has two that vary on her ally's gender on the enemy team, and the remaining English line is "Nano Boost administered."

When a character speaks a foreign language, they almost always speak it when using their ultimate. If they speak English, pay attention to sound effects if you have trouble remembering which is which, as they're much louder when it's an enemy.

i have been playing for a while now and ive heard all these variations in-game but i never actaully noticed them

I Always Confuse the junkrat Ult this video actually helped, that's crazy.

There are also Skin specific ones like for Hanzo's wolf skins.

Ngl I wish we could adjust the settings of how ult lines work because I really like the enemy voice lines for Baptiste and Moira so I wish they'd play for me when I ult as them.

ana has another ult line, being if shes on your team and nanos a teammate if im correct she says something along the lines of nanoboost administered

this was in overwatch 1 as well, not alot of people talk about it tho

Also in russian, when you use your ultimate as Zarya, as well as when your ally uses it, she says "Огонь по готовности" (same as english enemy voice line), but the voice lines are actually different because of actress's expression and intonation. Also some heroes's native language in ultimate voice lines is removed for some reason in russian dub

For Hanzo, he has a ultimate voice line based on a wolf skin, so if the player is wearing the wolf skin - he will instead say: "The wolf hunts for it's prey!"

The consistency you're probably thinking of is that the User of the Ultimate usually says the enemy one to the player, whereas your teammates hear the friendly lines. For example if you play Reinhardt, you will always hear "Hammer Down", where your team will hear "For the Crusaders." The only circumstance where I can't test this is for Skin Specific Ultimate Voicelines.

Interesting that Zenyatta is the only support who's both ult lines are in english instead of one of them being in another language
