Overview of the Keysight Battery Emulator (E36731A and BV9211B) - Workbench Wednesdays

Ғылым және технология

Keyight's E36731A hardware and BV9211B software combine to make a complete battery test and emulation solution. On this Workbench Wednesdays episode, James demonstrates that you can use these tools to profile how a battery charges and discharges, and then use those profiles to emulate batteries in an actual circuit.

Dear Manufacturers: I'm not specifying, or buying, test bench hardware that requires a software subscription to use installed features.

Same issue. Had a unit on demo, but the annual ransom to be able use a core functionality of the product was too much. Plus the Benchvue suite is pretty buggy.

A battery emulator would have helped a lit on my current project ...would have made the design phase a lot more reliable. 😂 when you transition towards real engineering tools start to matter a lot more....😢

Yeah, $5,000.00 hardware that requires a subscription for its main functionality. That's a hard NOPE!

I wouldn't get this unless I had the use for it and money to buy it including the monthly fees. This would be great I need to make sure my products that needs a battery would work well. In turn this would make money to use. Most people shouldn't buy this item because it for people who makes electronics to sell.
