I am really anxious to see you do a full review video of the XE-PRO. I’m trying to decide between this machine and the Masuter PRO.

Please make a video on some practice cuts of different material to see the preformance of the machine.

Great video as always James, I can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from your channel in the last couple of months. I knew nothing about CNC when I bought my Masuter Pro back in September.. It’s now the focal point of my workshop, I use it for literally everything! Thank you for all you share, keep up the great work!! 👍👍

Thank you James, very helpful answer. I guess I’ll stick with Sainsmart since I had some early issues with the Foxalien 3018 that I didn’t have with the Sainsmart 3018 Pro Ver I replaced it with.

What do you think of this one, vs the Vasto? Looks like the Vasto is tougher and better suited to cut metal?

Do you know when you are going to do the full review? With the upgraded linear rails? I can't wait! I wanted to buy on black friday for the deal, but there's no information out about this machine

Thanks, your videos are informative. Based on the brands and ‘similarities’ to their construction, my question is what is the connection between Genmitsu, Sainsmart. and Foxalien if you’re free to say. Thanks

Genmitsu and Sainsmart are the same company - I dont know why they did this because it actually confuses people. Sainsmart is the company, genmitsu is basically a sub brand. As for FoxAlien - technically there is no connection and they are competing companies but I am 99% sure they have their machines built/designed from the same source factory

I'm familiar with carbide create software for design work. Can I use that, save to g code and cut from the controller

I wanting to cut 2mm carbon not sure if to get the matsur or the xe pto ? Any opinions thanks

They are in different leagues. If you can afford the XE Pro then get it. People rarely regret getting a better machine but often regret getting the lower machine

@@JamesDeanDesigns thanks for the response i think ill look into the software side first and once i feel im getting the hang of it then ill get the machine kinda wanting to make drone chassis and such for rc parts in carbon fibre

Both are good machines. Buy this with the linear rail upgrade will out perform the Z1

Yeah, been looking at so many at the min, just cant decide but you have tons of vids , so blasting your libary!! i mainly will use for acrylic, CF and woods may dabble in Ali

​​@@JamesDeanDesigns so am i right in thinking the work area is the maxium cutting area? so i could cut materials up to this size? ie i need to be able to cut materials for button plates and base plates approx 390 x 250mm, would this be possible

Would it be possible to have the dimensions of the total foot print as you have done in the past vids. When you do the upgrade of the linear rails. Don’t trust the dimensions on Foxalian sales literature. Not much space to play with. As you know small shed.😢
