I'm experiencing all of these things mentioned - the worry, anxiety, overthinking, remembering bad things and bad choices from the past, worrying about my children's safety...it really does take over my mind daily and wakes me throughout the night. All of this with brain fog combined. I hope that it does eventually go away. I want to go back to being carefree..

I had this and decided to nourish my body in the best way, and I can say it took literally 2 weeks to see huge improvements, now months later I function so much easier that its like getting yourself back. So i recomment making smoothies daily. A.vogel dietary tips helped..i hardly need a coffee these days where I held it back til 11..I fed my brain well with veg, fruit nuts ..protein. and I can't imagine feeling that again. Solve it all with nutrition first, the other things are habits to support like journaling. A bed routine, a nice hobby, exercise, walking. Breathing..It works wonders. Thank you Eileen.

@@AvogelCoUk yes, we often don't realize how much power we have for our own health. The support and information you consistently offer is so validating empowering and gives women agency over their own self. I remember the first thing I did was calm myself with breathing and tell body 'its ok, I will help you. And then I was determined to give my body the nutrients it needs to feel it can be better. I can't thank you enough for creating this channel. Lia

I suffered with this for many years, during PMS when I did have my period and during perimenopause into postmenopause. These days the duration of these spells has decreased but still there. I find I just have to talk to myself and and let me know that this is part and parcel of the whole transition. It isn't easy at times but I think just knowing that it can be a normal part of it all helps. When I start to think negatively I replace those thoughts with positive ones and those of gratitude. Sometimes you realize that there is more to be thankful for than unhappy about. Thanks for sharing all you wonderful knowledge. I am positive you have helped so many women with their hormonal struggles. :) :)

I didn't realize this was a peri thing. I thought it was a trauma thing and Covid pandemic trauma. Thank you so much for this talk. I am going through this. I have always been an over thinker but now it is on a crazy high level. I look at every side like it is a crazy mathematical formula. All my past trauma has come up. I am ok with that. I think that is the only thing that has been healthy about this. I was able to resolve and heal from the trauma. It is slow and a journey. I am doing it and it's wonderful. I do worry about my husband and animals all the time, especially my animals. My husband has to tell me it's ok. Yesterday, I told him not to let our puppy out without turning the light on because we have hawks and they could get her. My husband laughed so hard about this because he said they couldn't pick her up. Of course I had to check on her and it was not dark outside but dusk. There is no way a hawk could pick her up, lol. I live in the South (USA). It is humid here. My hot flashes were starting to get worse. I knew I had to do something. I was getting physically sick from them. I started taking Rhubarb extract. It has helped a lot. I noticed it also helped with the overthinking. My mind is a lot more calm.

I struggle with CPTSD and all my suppressed memories and emotions started coming up and I felt being flooded. It also made my perimenopause symptoms severe with having the most intense hot flashes every 10 mins. Since it was my second episode of depression, I was able to notice the symptoms earlier and got timely help. I started Zoloft and Estroven [Rhapontic Rhubarb Root Extract] and I am so grateful to God that both of it helped me tremendously and I feel stable now.

why nature came to torment women like this, I mean there are a thousand things in the body that affect the menopause, it is not only the lack of libido or infertility, there are many things from the brain to the feet that happen to us, but the worst of all for me has been anxiety (catastrophic thoughts) insomnia and body aches. On top of that I am disappointed with the creation, there is really no explanation that justifies why we are doing so badly and, "OH", everything is normal". I know there are many women that don't feel it that bad, but there are the majorities that do, just one simple "common" symptom like lack of libido can ruin ALL your marriage, but add to that the anxiety, the confused feelings and emotions, and this is too much. I am very close to my health, I am fine in general, have very healthy habits that keep me out of diseases so far, but I feel sorry for that women that come alone to this stage, it is really a luck to be accompanied by a partner that can be a support during these time, my case, but still feel that this must be an error of the nature .... Oh, my goodness, am I in menopause or what? lol, I feel better now that I said it.
