I can tell your a real lover of two wheel performance and someone who’s laid down a lot of miles. I’m a long haul truck driver specializing in only oversized yacht transport. I work about 200 days a year, and the rest of the time I’m either on my 2012 Concours 1400 or I’m riding ms April RSV4. I look forward to your next videos!

So very true! I like the shot of my old home racetrack (Philip Island). Slipstreams play a big part as it’s one of the fastest (if not the) in both the GP and WSBK championships! Leading, with a bike on your tail, at the last corner meant you’d almost always get overtaken just at the finish line when you were at top speed. 👍😎

Great video~~~ Dun get me wrong but I was kinda looking for more technical explainations rather than strategies tho. There are some techniques I have used on the track such as block pass, crossing trajectory, late apex... Etc. Obviously you are much much better than I am as a rider and I would love to see your technical explainations on these techniques~~~ Please please make another in-depth video on overtaking~~~ 🙏🙏

By far slipstream n wearing out tyres are best strategy now days compare to others Out breking wears tyres faster after long straight Chasing n waiting can also make bike slow on some corners before someone behind u overtakes u which is risky Another best way is like waiting for long straight for bikes like Ducati does on mugelo

i have a question, why motogp riders make much less defensive manouvers than f1 drivers? i see so much easy overtakes down the inside where the defenders just gave away the position. but i know that theyre aware of the riders behind them because i see a lot of avoiding manouvers on the apex even though they had the corner. so why dont just defend the inside line on the entry?
@iftekharahmed2872

Because motorcycle can easily lose balance and once you lose it you are out of the race. Thats why you give in a position to an agressive rider. Its better to drop one position than to drop out from the race. And they are less expensive compared to f1 cars so an agressive rider don't care that much. But in f1 cars are expensive and you wont have to worry about balance or anything. So you can defend your position. And cars are expensive so you don't want to mess up the car thats why attacking drivers aren't that agressive as attacking riders

Wish kawi would get back to Moto gp With a A brand new cross plane crankshaft zxrr...... then do what Yamaha did with the yzr-m and translate that technology to their premier super bikes (zx10r, zx10rr). Nowadays you cant rely on the bike too much like previous era. All bikes now closer in power, so everyone seek little difference that can improve their bike. Last year honda is just the true example. Even cal said you cant mimic what marquez did. 66° lean angle just to turn the bike. That was outright video games. Not to mention, while other honda suffered, only one man capable doing the magic alone.

No. The overtake from Rossi was in 2004, when Marquez didn’t know how to ride a fucking motorbike, against Casey Stoner. So Rossi did it first. But he had no other option than cutting through the dirt.
