Overnight ATV Adventure | Return to Cape Breton Island Celtic Shore Coastal Trail

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We had so much fun on this trip last year we went back again. This was a 2 day trip in beautiful Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The scenery is absolutely world class. It's an extremely comfortable ride on a multi-purpose trail. Even beginners could enjoy this trip. It was 100 km each way.
We started at noon on arrived at our destination by early evening on the first day. We left mid-morning the next day and arrived back mid-afternoon.
If you want to see last year's version of this video, click the link below. It was a shorter trip to West Mabou.

    I am currently hiking this trail by section. I am just missing the Mabou to Inverness Section and hopefully I'll finish it by Saturday. Amazing!

    This is such a beautiful place to ride, camp, and enjoy some fishing. It’s a great feeling when you run into people who are out there based off a video you put together. I love the drone shots over the ocean as the sun was setting. I would love to see a video of you continuing the trails in this area. I saw the crab crawling around. Do you have to have a certain type of license to catch them? Man, fish and crab on a trip that is all fresh caught would be cool. Take care bud. I look forward to the next video.

    I love that area and try to get up there a few times a year if I can. I will try to go back in October when the fall leaves are bright red and yellow, and I will do a video of that hopefully. I'm not sure if you need a license to catch those little crabs or not. I've never seen anyone get them. You need a license for fishing but it's inexpensive for residents. Thanks for watching and keep up the excellent work with those awesome videos from New Mexico.

    Looks like a nice leisurely trek, but not sure about those barriers. My RMax specs say she's 64in wide, but my tape measure says she may be a little wider at 65ish.

  • @EastCoastATV

    @EastCoastATV

    The RMAX is actually 66" wide I believe. Many of the barriers are okay to get through but you would find a few tight. Just go slow and you'd be fine. I noticed some people have been going around some of the narrow ones in the ditches.

    @@EastCoastATV the specs from Yamaha say 64, but my measuring tape tells me it's closer to 66. I have fender flares on the way which will make me wider. I don't mind sqeezing thru, or going around could be better.

    I purchased an RMAX just 2 days ago. I was quite fortunate to find one but now not quite fortunate cause it is 66.1 inches wide. I won't be able to squeeze through and this looks like a really nice ride.

    Thanks. No issues leaving from Troy. But like I mentioned in the video, I would go up the highway 5km to the Creignish Community Center next time. Way more room there and there's bathrooms there you can use before you leave and when you get back.

    I'm a new side by side owner, the Yamaha RMAX 2 1000 EPS SE. Needing some input on accessories particularly front windshields. For now I have a half one. Not sure which one I would benefit from most, a full one or a full one able to open halfway. Are wipers necessary? Do you have seat covers on? Someone recommended picking up a set at Princess Auto to protect the seats more. Is it worth fully enclosing the cab area? Someone told me it takes away from the experience cause it felt like they were driving a truck through the woods. Any input I could use, I'm not ready for winter so I have to get on the ball and get it done. Thanks
