Overnight Adventure On The New Boat - Catch and Cook

After a successful first couple of trips on board our new @StabicraftNZStabicraft it was time to head out on our first overnight adventure. First up after launching at Havelock Marina it was a stop over at Te Rawa Lodge for lunch and a couple of brews where we caught up with some mates. Ben Carson from Christchurch was up for a few days camping on board his boat with his partner as well so he joined us for the afternoon fishing. We decided to target Kingfish first up and with the sounder loaded with sign we just couldn't seem to get one. Just after we decided to move to our next location Ben managed to hook up to a nice Kingfish. After no luck on the Kings we managed to have an awesome session catching some nice Snapper which one was dedicated to cook up on board the boat for dinner. This Snapper session really showed how epic the walk around feature of the new boat is, having the ability to fish the entire boat is a game changer. We tried again for a Kingfish with no luck so it was time to head into Ketu Bay for the night and cook up some fresh Snapper for dinner.

Hi jase seen you and your mrs in new world in Kaikoura easter weekend just gone we were down for the vw nationals went out for a nght fish off the beach plenty of sharks last cast at midnight fot a530 kaiwai now in the smoker , cheers , shaneo, Nelson, 🍺👍

@@reeladventureswithjase751 yes said to Mrs last cast as she was cold was midnight ,and many sharks put back we were staying just beside the npd servo wot a great motel out the gate on the beach surf casting ,was going out this morning here in Nelson in the boat but Crap weather at 6am are you guys living in Nelson ?
