Overlanding West Texas / Remote Camping + Offroad
STICKERS: AFGHANSURFCLUB.COM
On this episode, we explore West Texas and Big Bend Ranch State Park for some camping and offroad fun in my new Nissan Frontier Pro4X. We camp at Pila De Los Muchachos, hike to Madrid falls, and check out the pictographs at Cueva Larga.

Nice video! Those holes in the cave are known as metates, or grinding holes for seeds and grains.

Exactly brother 💪🏼
Love that park. I had been to the National park and agree with the fact that the Ranch is far more rugged. I even was at the exact camp site a week after you guys. Great spot.
Came for the Frontier, stayed for the cool video… Subscribed!

This is fabulous, many thanks.
Wow, such an great trip and video! At 65 now, this reminded me of trips I've taken in the past. I'd absolutely love to do this trip. Those kids look like they are having an awesome time, and like you said, that's the most important thing. Lifetime memories there. And as a Frontier owner myself, it's great seeing the videos of your journey through the park. Safe and happy travels!

We look forward to making our way out here. Thanks for posting. Looks like great fun.
Man that lil RC Jeep is so accurate representation of what the suspension is like over rough terrain 🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣
Greetings from the RGV.... Awesome video, bro. I wish you could put together an excursion for your viewers. I would attend.
Love it son! Great video and what an amazing experience for Ezra. ❤

I had been waiting for this one cause I've been wanting to go to the State Ranch. By the looks and what you said, it's definitely much more rugged than the NP. Would have to be much more prepared. Looks like it offers much more solitude than the NP despite it being pretty good. I'll be planning a trip out here this year for sure. Loved the video, man!

They’re both fun but if you’re looking for more in the offroad aspect, state park for sure. If you’re doing more easy sightseeing spots with your family that maybe doesn’t want to be so secluded, national park
I love the Ranch more than Big Bend. The Ranch is wilder and makes me imagine how life was lived back in the 19th century in South Texas. Plus, the stars seem to come alive there.

Same thoughts!
Great vid! I've been to the NP three times. I've been curious about the SP and this makes me want to go this year. Hopefully it's ruggedness keeps it less popular.

Hit up SP for sure you won’t regret it!
hey Ezra's my son's name too! That's cool, don't meet a lot of Ezras
i think if i were buying a mid-sized truck right now, I'd get that Frontier. I've had Tacomas and Tundras but I like that Frontier's ol reliable drivetrain

Loving the frontier, coming from the biggest Toyota fan boy. I also thing it’s the best looking mid size truck at the moment🤌🏼
You probably already fixed that mount for your radio, but putting a little felt sticky pad like you use for the feet of furniture would be a low profile and decently sound insulated solution to your rattling problem
Plans for a Frontier review anytime soon? Got a wild hair and really interested in one now. Nice vids, keep em coming.

Definitely need to!
Man I just cancelled my reservation for the Guale 002 campsite I had for February. Even though I’m pretty prepared I didn’t want to go way back there solo lol. Supposedly it takes 3 hrs to get to it. Definitely more rugged than the national park. Beautiful views though!

That’s the spot I’ve been wanting to get lol! Jake goes to Guale by himself but yeah I feel ya, I wouldn’t risk it either
Really enjoyed the video - I have a dully 4x4 - high clearance - would I have an issue making this journey on my truck ?

Thanks! I would worry about the narrow trails mostly. Get ready for some nature pinstripping
Love it! Where did you get the mount for the inreach mini? I have the bulletpoint.

Google bulletpoint mounts Garmin in reach and there’s an article from them telling you what you need to buy from Garmin and what you need to buy from Bulletpoint. Love the mount!
