You are in booger country. We have a family of boogers on the farm. . When I was a young man (74) now we had a 5ft juvenile booger walk into our deer camp begging. We gave him a steak off the fire he ate it and left, never saw it again. Michigan

The reason that Timbered Branch Road is closed is because on the other other end of that road (turns into Craig Creek Road) it's completely washed out/destroyed. Your jeep is amazing and it might actually be one of the few vehicles that could make it over Craig Creek Road. Im from Morganton NC, and been loving Wilsons, Linville, and Pisgah North my whole life! Great videos!!!

Awesome content and I'm enjoying binge watching all of your adventures. As someone who just bailed outta California back to home in SC I was afraid I was going to miss the Jeeping and exploring I had right outside my backdoor. Fortunately it looks like I have plenty of things to explore going forward. I heard you mention needing ice a couple of times in your videos. I use a Yeti 45 since I normally travel solo with one of my dogs. The back of the Jeep tub gets really hot due to the close proximity of the muffler. I built a platform for my cooler on the right side of my LJ (rear seat removed) and it helped tremendously with ice retention. 4-5 days was completely doable with plenty of ice left to keep food and drinks cold even in the desert.

Thanks for watching! There is quite a bit of stuff to explore on this side of the world. We just gotta look a little harder for it. Thanks for the advice on the ice. We ended up buying a refrigerator. It has been a great addition to our rig.

Actually it is rarely used as a campsite . Most folks from the area use it as a turn around or to share the amazing view from that point with everyone passing thru. Thankfully it wasn’t a busy day, otherwise you would have had a significant amount of traffic in and out of your site. Old 105 is one of our favorite spots for a quick escape. Thank you for showing the beauty of 105 and Wilson’s Creek. Next time be sure to walk out to Wisemans View, it is beyond miraculous.

Is this the forest roads near 181 Burke county NC and beech man road that parallels Wilson creek. The reason I ask I just got my first sxs made it street legal and some forest roads are opening April 1st I'm trying to plot me a route but kinda new to this. This area is close to me if its the one I'm talking about.

Is it possible you can share this route via email (don’t know if you have an email for your channel or not)? I’m a police officer in FL and desperately need to get out of the city for a while and reset (I’m sure you know how that goes given Y’all’s line of work as well). Please and thank you if possible.
