Thanks for making and posting the videos like this, I love them! I just got an XC70 a little over a week ago and you showed me some features in my car i didn't know I had, lol! I always wanted a XC70 for overlanding/wildcamping as Im quite a big Volvo fan, but I made my research and bought a 2004 Landcruiser Prado. Let's be honest , that's the right tool for the job, it is good to see an XC70 outside in the wilderness, but it is not designed for that, maybe very soft roading. Anyway, enjoyed Your video !

Yes i agree, landcruiser is solid 4x4 great choice👍. I like all 4X4 and AWD cars and i want to test every single one 🤠. I am not claiming that volvo is best, but it feels like swiss army knife mixed with subaru and viking ship. It can do many tasks including overlanding. I think it is great option for lower budget.

I have many problems with my Volvo V70 that I want to sell it. Head gasket, oil leak in crankcase. AC blows hot air and activates itself, discharges the battery. Is it really worth continuing to fix it or is it better to change for another vehicle?

Hmmm, its hard to say. Car have to work for you, and if its not ,than maybe change it

What are the Straps you used for the first recovery called ? do you have a link for them maybe ?

I found them on agroculture shop, usualy they have things for trucks and tractors, but no brand.
